24 godine od Dejtona
(Patria) – Danas 21. novembra se navršavaju 24 godine od kada je u američkoj bazi Wright-Patterson u Daytonu parafiran Opšti okvirni sporazum za mir u BiH i njegovih 12 aneksa, čime je okončan rat u BiH i uspostavljen njen ustavno-pravni poredak.
Dejtonski sporazum, nakon tri sedmice pregovora, parafirali su tadašnji predsjednici Srbije Slobodan Milošević, Republike BiH Alija Izetbegović i Hrvatske Franjo Tuđman.
Sporazum je parafiran u prisustvu tadašnjeg državnog sekretara SAD Warrena Christophera, a, osim njega, glavni američki posrednici bili su Richard Holbrooke i general Wesley Clark.
Dejtonski sporazum zvanično je potpisan 14. decembra 1995. godine u Jelisejskoj palati u Parizu.
Dan uspostavljanja Opšteg okvirnog sporazuma za mir u BiH, 21. novembar, u RS je praznik i neradni dan.
