26. godišnjica oslobodilačke akcije ”Istok 94”
Prije 26 godina na sedamnaesti oktobar izvedena je oslobodilačka akcija ”Istok 94” u kojoj je oslobođeno preko 20 kilometara kvadratnih privremeno okupirane teritorije, sela i zaseoci: Sibovac, Unkići, Liporašće, Huskići. Povodom obilježavanja godišnjice danas je upriličena i prigodna manifestacija kojom je odata počast šehidima, poginulim borcima i civilnim žrtvama Odbrambeno-oslobodilačkog rata 1999.-1995.godine, manifestacija pod nazivom ”Rađanje slobode”. Na Centralnom spomen obilježu šehidima-poginulim borcima i civilnim žrtvama rata, delegacija Grada Gradačac, boračka udruženja, te predstavnici političkih partija položili su cvijeće, a imami Medžlisa Islamske zajednice Gradačac proučili su i poklonili Ja-sin. Referat na zadatu temu održao je Selmir Idrizović, profesor historije i član udruženja historičara ”Sehara” Gradačac.
Prisutnima su se obratili major Sadan Imamović, ratni načelnik Štaba 107 viteške mtbr, komadant 213 vtmbr kao i komadant Taktičke grupe akcije ”Istok-Sjeveroistok 94” , Munever Beširović predsjednik Saveza boračkih organizacija Gradačca i gradonačelnik Grada Gradačac Edis Dervišagić.
Gradonačelnik Dervišagić istakao je da je Gradačac kroz svoju historiju prolazio kroz mnoge teške periode, te da je od 1992. do 1995.godine ovo područje bilo središte velikih ratnih operacija. Gradačac se često po mnogim vojnim analitičarima ubraja u najveća ratna žarišta na području Bosne i Hercegovine. Oslobodilačka akcija ”Istok ‘94” spada u jednu od bitaka koja je po mnogo čemu svojstvena i o kojoj je ovisio dalji ishod ratnih operacija na ovom području.
U MZ Bagdale-Ahmetaši otkriveno je spomen obilježje na kojem je uklesano 27 imena. Prilikom otkrivanja spomen ploče, pročitana su imena poginulih koji su braneći svoju domovinu život izgubili, 22 borca i pet civilnih žrtava rata. Imami Medžlisa IZ Gradačac proučili su i poklonili Ja-sin i na Bagdalama, a učenici iz JU O.Š. ”Dr. Safvet-beg Bašagić” Gradačac održali recital.
Delegacija i mještani položili su cvijeće i odali počast šehidima poginulim borcima i civilnim žrtvama rata i u mjesnim zajednicama: Škorići, Sibovac, Mionica I, Mionica Centar i Mionica II.
Program manifestacije ”Rađanje slobode” nastavlja se i narednih dana. U sklopu toga obilježit će se ”Bitka za oklopni voz”, Dan Grada Gradačac, te Dan zlatnih ljiljana Gradačca.
