8. Sportske igre mladih u Gradačcu
Jučer su u Gradačcu svečano opočele 8. Sportske igre mladih jedan od najpoznatijih sportskih događaja za mlade u regiji. Na ovim igrama očekuje se učešće oko 900 mladih sa područja općine Gradačac koji će se takmičiti u raznim sportovima. Takmičenja će se održati na nekoliko lokacija u Gradačcu među kojima su i sportska dvorana „ Skenderija“, sportski poligon „Luke“, sportska dvorana OŠ Safvet beg Bašagić i jezero Vidara.
Sportske igre mladih ove godine se održavaju od 5. maja do 28. avgusta 2018. godine u u 28 regionalna centara-gradova. Pobjednici Regionalnih takmičenja dolaze u Sarajevu na finalno takmičenje koje će se održati od 07.08.-11.08.2018. Pobjednici Finalnog takmičenja u Sarajevu imat će priliku učestvovati na Velikom Međunarodnom finalu Sportskih igara mladih u Splitu. Pored djece iz Bosne i Hercegovine nastupit će još ekipe iz Hrvatske i Srbije.
U Gradačcu mladi će se moći takmičiti i imati priliku učestvovati na Coca-Cola CUP-u u malom nogometu/fudbalu, Poli CUP-u u malom nogometu/fudbalu, Plazma CUP-u odbojci, Kinder+Sport CUP-u u košarci, Bingo CUP-u u igri „između dvije vatre“, Lutrija BiH CUP-u u atletici i Podravka CUP-u u odbojci na pijesku.
Općinski načelnik mr. sci Edis Dervišagić je izrazio zadovoljstvo da je Gradačac ponovo odabran za održavanje ove manifestacije koja je veoma bitna za mlade s područja općine i zaželio svim učesnicima mnogo sportske sreće i uspjeha.
Sportske igre mladih već osam godina na terenima promovišu fair-play, toleranciju, poštivanje protivnika pa sve naše SIM-ovce molimo da se ponašaju u skladu s navedenim.
