Koronavirus: Zašto sada zaraženi ljudi ne padaju kao u Kini?
Pojava novog virusa COVID-19 krajem prošle godine u Kini uznemirila je građane širom svijeta. Informacije iz januara govorile su o opasnom virusu koji se širi u dalekoj Kini, broju oboljelih i mrtvih, a uznemirujući snimci iz Wuhana, grada u kojem se virus pojavio i širio nevjerovatnom brzinom, govorili su da je na pomolu nova katastrofa.
Jezive scene iz Kine preplavile su društvene mreže. Fotografije i snimci iz ove zemlje su uznemirili građane širom svijeta. Kinezi na snimcima zaraženi koronavirusom padali su kao pokošeni po ulicama.
Nakon Kine koronavirus se proširio i na ostale dijelove svijeta. Italija je postala novo žarište, zatim Španija i Njemačka. I iz ovih zemalja pojavili su se snimci iz bolnica koji pokazuje katastrofalno stanje bolesnika.
Međutim, ono što je posebno interesantno je zašto u državama sa velikim brojem slučajeva zaraze stanovnici ne padaju na ulicama, kao što je bio slučaj u Wuhanu. Zašto se više ne pojavljuju snimci takvog karaktera? Da li su snimci stvarni ili su samo dio medijskog plana stvaranja panike kako bi se građani širom svijeta uplašili? Nekim fotografijama i snimcima stvara se bespotrebna panika sa mnogo lažnih i netačnih informacija. Dezinformacije u doba zdravstvene krize mogu imati tragične posljedice. Mnogo informacija o koronavirusu nalazi se na skoro svim društvenim mrežama, od teorija zavjere do neprovjerenih izvještaja i savjeta, ali i zlonamjernih medijskih kampanja. Dok epidemija testira sposobnost tehnoloških kompanija da uklone lažne vijesti tokom globalne vanredne situacije, pojedine vlade i njihove agencije preuzimaju kontrolu, pišu svjetski mediji.
