Obilježena 23. godišnjica stradanja gradačačkih srednjoškolaca
Danas se navršava 23 godine od stradanja četvero gradačačkih srednjoškolaca, koji su poginuli u agresorskom granatiranju 23.12.1994. godine ispred OŠ Ivan Goran Kovačić. Tim povodom jučer je obilježena ova tužna godišnjica uz prisustvo članova porodica, učenika, nastavnika, mnogobrojnih građana, lokalne vlasti, predstavnika boračkih organizacija i političkih stranaka.
Tog kobnog dana ubijena su četiri učenika: Senada i Senad Okanović, učenici drugog razreda Tekstilno-tehničke struke MSŠ „Hasan Kikić“ Gradačac te Miralem Kadić i Benjamin Bajramović učenici prvog razreda Gimnazije „ Mustafa Novalić“ Gradačac. Samo dva dana prije ovog tragičnog događaja stradala su još dva srednjoškolca. Poginuo je Damir Pezerović, a ranjen Almin Baltić, učenici MSŠ „Hasan Kikić“ Gradačac.
Adnan Fejzić, predsjednik „Udruženja Maloljetnih boraca ARBIH“ – općine Gradačac, obraćavši se prisutnima istakao je da mu je veoma teško i emotivno govoriti o ovim događajima jer je i sam bio učenik i sudionik ovog nesretnog događaja.
Ovog nemilog događaja prisjetio se i tadašnji direktor MSŠ Hasan Kikić Gradačac, prof. Mirsad Bajramović rekavši: „ … Da na mjestu naše najveće i vječite tuge teško je naći riječi da bi čovjek izrazio osjećanja i svoja sjećanja na minulo vrijeme. Možda bi najbolje bilo samo odšutjeti. Ali ako treba govoriti, a treba, ja bih ponovio ono što je rekao i naš učenik Adnan Fejzić – Da se nikada i nikome ponovo ne dogodi …“.
Enes Omerović zajedno s kolegama policajcima Marinkom Bakovićem i Huseinom Čolićem je tog nesretnog dana i još tri borca 7. bataljona 107. viteške brigade pritekao u pomoć nastradalim učenicima. Prisjećajući se nemilih događaja istako je da je veoma sretan što je ostao u kontaktu sa učenicima koje je on i njegove kolege spasile i da ti učenici danas imaju svoju djecu i žive sretno s njima.
Općinski načelnik mr.sci Edis Dervišagić je izrazio sućut roditeljima ubijene djece i zahvalio se stanovnicima Gradačca i boračkim organizacijama što čuvaju sjećanje na jedan od najtragičnijih i najtužniji dana iz bliske prošlosti. Također je rekao da, nažalost, ne možemo uticati na prošlost ali svojim djelovanjem možemo uticati na budućnost. Osim toga moramo podsjećati i buduće generacije na ovaj događaj kako vrijeme koje živimo i vrijeme koje dolazi ne bi ponovilo ovakve događaje.
Učenici OŠ „ Ivan Goran Kovačić „ Gradačac i učenici MSŠ „ Hasan Kikić“ Gradačac pripremili su prigodan program.
