Intoniranjem himne Bosne i Hercegovine u Potočarima je počela komemoracija žrtvama genocida u Srebrenici. Nakon intoniranja himne prisutni su učenjem fatihe i minutom šutnje odali počast žrtvama.U Potočare su od jutros pristizali članovi porodica ubijenih, zvanične delegacije iz Bosne i Hercegovine, učesnici Marša mira i drugi građani. Komemoraciji, između ostalih, prisustvuju članovi Predsjedništva BiH Željko Komšić i Šefik Džaferović, državna tužiteljica Gordana Tadić, predsjednik SDA Bakir Izetbegović, kardinal Vinko Puljić, reis-ul-ulema Husein Kavazović, te predsjednik Jevrejske zajednice u Bosni i Hercegovini Jakob Finci.
Danas će u Potočarima biti klanjana dženaza za devet žrtava genocida, koje će nakon 25 godina naći konačan smiraj.
Predviđen je prigodan program, a tokom dana će se videoporukom obratiti i brojni državnici, bivši i sadašnji, zvaničnici evropskih i mnogih drugih međunarodnih institucija.
Kako je najavljeno, na obilježavanju će se obratiti bivši predsjednik Sjedinjenih Američkih Država Bill Clinton, princ od Walesa Charles, predsjednik Republike Turske Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, princ Kraljevine Saudijske Arabije Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud, glavni tužilac Haškog tribunala Serge Brammertz, predsjednik Rezidualnog mehanizma za kaznene sudove za bivšu Jugoslaviju Carmel Agius, visoki predstavnik Valentin Inzko, američki državni tajnik Michael Pompeo, premijer Velike Britanije Boris Johnson, predsjednik Republike Francuske Emmanuel Macron, predsjednik Njemačke Frank-Walter Steinmeier…
