36-godišnji Ibišević je sa Šalkeom dogovorio jednogodišnju saradnju i platu od samo 100.000 eura, što je mizerno u odnosu na 3 miliona godišnje koliko je imao u Herti.
Navodi se kako je to manje od prosjećne plaće igrača iz treće njemačke lige.
Ibišević navodno ima znatno unosnije ponude iz inostranstva, ali je njegova želja da ostane u Njemačkoj i zaigra za Šalke.
