NERAZRIJEŠENA NESREĆA Godišnjica pogibije velikog političara i državnika Džemala Bijedića
MOSTAR, (Patria) – U avionskoj nesreći, koja se dogodila na putu prema Sarajevu, 18. januara 1977. godine, tragično je preminuo Džemal Bijedić, na vrhuncu svoje moći. Supruga Razija je poginula zajedno sa Bijedićem. Iza sebe su ostavili troje djece: Dragana, Azru i Milenka.
Džemal Bijedić je rođen 12. aprila 1917. godine u Mostaru, gdje je i odrastao kao potomak ugledne trgovačke porodice. Kao gimnazijalac se simpatiše sa pokretom komunista, kome se tokom studija u Beogradu i priključuje.
Oktobra 1939. godine u Beogradu biva primljen u SKOJ, a decembra 1939. u mostarskoj organizaciji u KPJ. Četiri puta biva zatvaran, svaki put u Mostaru. Za vrijeme Drugog svjetskog rata aktivno kao član Partije učestvuje u NOB-i. Nakon rata postaje pomoćnik ministra unutrašnjih poslova vlade Bosne i Hercegovine, potom 1948. godine, načelnik Uprave za agitaciju i propagandu Centralnog komiteta KPBiH.
Lista njegovih funkcija je duga i vodi ka gore na hijerarhijskoj ljestvici: osim dvije navedene funkcije bio je i sekretar Oblasnog komiteta KPJ za Hercegovinu, član Izvršnog vijeća Bosne i Hercegovine, predsjednik Republičkog vijeća, predsjednik Skupštine SRBiH i na kraju predsjednik Saveznog izvršnog vijeća (SIV) 1971 godine.
Potpisnik letaka za borbu za autonomiju Bosne i Hercegovine u međuratnom periodu do 1941. godine do svoje pogibije se zalaže za razvitak privrede, primjenu principa samoupravljanja, promociju Jugoslavije u inostranstvu i jačanje Pakta nesvrstanih.
Bijedić je bio i organizator nove bosanske privredne reforme i infrastrukture, posebno izgradnje moderne putne mreže, regionalnih vodovoda, gradskih kanalizacija i telekomunikacija, te 80-tih godina djelimično ostvarenog kulturnog projekta “hiljadu škola”.
Za kratko vrijeme susreo je sve važnije svjetske državnike tog vremena, Mao Ce Tunga (Mao Tse-Tung), Džeralda Forda (Gerald Ford), Leonida Brežnjeva (Leonid Brežnjev). Uvijek je bio uz Tita, špekulisan je kao njegov mogući nasljednik, što je otvorilo sumnje u slučajnost avionske nesreće. Priče o umješanosti Titove supruge Jovanke Broz u ovoj avionskoj nesreći i do dan danas su ostale žive. Naime, Tito koji je do tada stalno putovao sa Jovankom širom svijeta, je poslije ove avionske nesreće stavio sopstvenu suprugu u kućni pritvor.
Džemal Bijedić bio je čovjek kojeg su svi voljeli i sigurno je jedan od najomiljenijih političara iz komunističkog vremena, pogotovo u našoj zemlji za koju se oduvijek borio. Potpisnik je letaka za borbu za autonomiju BiH u međuratnom periodu do 1941. godine.
Porodica Džemala Bijedića pokušala je doći do dokumenata o pomenutoj nesreći, koji se nalaze u Beogradu, ali tamošnje vlasti to nisu dozvolile. Nekoliko puta tražili su da vide izvještaj o nesreći, ali svaki put su odbijeni, bez ikakvog objašnjenja. Čak ni dijelove aviona nisu mogli vidjeti. Sve to ukazuje da je pri padu aviona bilo dosta sumnjivih radnji.
Bijedić je bio porodičan čovjek i gdje god da je išao nije se odvajao od svoje supruge Razije, koja je poginula zajedno s njim.
Na sarajevskom groblju Bare svake godine na dan Bijedićeve pogibije okupe se poštovaoci lika i djela Džemala Bijedića, kako bi odali počast ovom velikom čovjeku.
