U zemljotresu u Izmiru poginulo 25 osoba, 804 povrijeđene: Nastavlja se potraga za preživjelima
Uprava za vanredne situacije pri Ministarstvu unutrašnjih poslova Turske (AFAD) saopćila je kako je u zemljotresu koji je pogodio Izmir, poginulo najmanje 25 osoba, a 804 su povrijeđene.
U saopćenju AFAD-a navodi se kako je nakon jučerašnjeg zemljotresa od 6,6 stepeni po Richteru, sa epicentrom u Egejskom moru, uslijedilo 277 podrhtavanja tla, od toga 25 su jačine iznad četiri stepena.
Jutros u 08:31 sati zabilježen je još jedan zemljotres jačine 5 stepeni, u vodama Seferihisara, na udaljenosti od 17,25 kilometara. Zemljotres je zabilježen na dubini od 7,33 kilometra.
Nakon zemljotresa koji je jučer pogodio zapad Turske, u distriktu Bayrakli u Izmiru, koji je inače najteže pogođen njegovim posljedicama, u devet zgrada nastavlja se potraga za preživjelima. Ministar okoline i urbanizma Murat Kurum izjavio je kako su radovi na traganju i spašavanju započeti u ukupno 17 zgrada, od čega su u osam okončani. U devet zgrada potraga se nastavlja.
– Naše aktivnosti traganja i spašavanja nastavljamo s 3.999 ljudi i 475 vozila. Nema nikakvih nedostataka u opremi i ekipama – rekao je Kurum.
Dodao je kako su AFAD i Crveni polumjesec obezbijedili 3.000 šatora u regiju za porodice pogođene zemljotresom.
– Uz šatore osigurano je 10.000 kreveta i 20.000 deka poslano je u regiju. Također, i mobline kuhinje za 56.300 osoba – naveo je Kurum.
Od posljedica zemljotresa poginulo je i dvoje tinejdžera na grčkom ostrvu Samos nakon što se na njih srušio zid.
