Vakcine stižu, BiH na čekanju
Osim što smo zakomplicirali nabavku, svrstani smo u red trećih zemalja koje čekaju cijepljenje
Ohrabrujuća je vijest da je Evropska agencija za lijekove (EMA) odobrila jučer „Pfizer“ vakcinu za upotrebu u Evropskoj uniji. Na taj način pokušat će se spriječiti daljnje širenje pandemije koronavirusa, ali i smanjiti broj smrtnih slučajeva širom Evrope. Ovo je vijest koja je jučer odjeknula kao bomba među građanima EU.
Prve vakcine, nakon odobrenja, već stižu i u susjednu Hrvatsku, kao članicu EU. Ova država, već davno je naručila skoro 5,5 miliona doza cjepiva i prva vakcinacija kreće već 28. decembra.
Isto važi za druge države EU. Svi su u redu da krenu s vakcinacijom svoga stanovništva. S druge strane, Velika Britanija započela je još prije dvije sedmice vakcinaciju, Amerika također. I Rusija je počela s cijepljenjem, svojom vakcinom, još prije 15 dana.
Cijeli svijet je mjesecima bio u utrci za vakcinom koja će konačno pomoći građanima da pobijede pandemiju i taj se plan polako već ostvaruje.
druge strane, u BiH će vakcinacija, u najboljem slučaju, početi tek u martu. U prijevodu, kada bogate zemlje već završe s vakcinacijom svoga stanovništva.
Naša država, osim što je zakomplicirala nabavku, i umalo da smo ostali i bez naručenih doza, svrstana je u red trećih zemalja koje čekaju cijepljenje.
Do tada, moramo se strpjeti i čekati. Valjda neće biti kasno. Alarmantan je i dalje broj umrlih, treća smo zemlja u Evropi po broju smrtnih slučajeva, a brojke se ne smanjuju.
No, pitanje je, kada i dođu naručene doze, hoće li ih biti dovoljno za sve i ko će se vakcinisati. Mnogo je nejasnoća. Samo da ne dođemo u fazu da se cijela Evropa do marta vakciniše, a mi da ostanemo ni na nebu ni zemlji. O tome se moralo misliti ranije.
