Gradonačelnik uputio čestitku povodom DANA ARMIJE REPUBLIKE BiH
Petnaesti april 1992. godine je jedan od najznačajnijih datuma u modernoj historiji Bosne i Hercegovine. Tog dana su zvanično formirane snage koje su uprkos mnogo brojnijem i daleko bolje naoružanom agresoru, uspjele odbraniti zemlju i njen teritorijalni suverenitet i integritet.
Armija RBiH osnovana od jedinica Teritorijalne obrane BiH i organizovanih dobrovoljaca iznikla je iz naroda i borila se za slobodu, za istinu i pravedne, civilizacijske ciljeve, a u toj borbi su rame uz rame bili pripadnici svih naroda u Bosni i Hercegovini ujedinjeni u otporu prema agresoru.
Obilježavanje 29.godišnjice formiranja Armije Republike Bosne i Hercegovine posebna je prilika da se sa ponosom prisjetimo svih zasluga pripadnika Armije Republike Bosne i Hercegovine u očuvanju integriteta i nezavisnosti Bosne i Hercegovine i slobode njenih naroda.
Neizmjernu zahvalnost i obavezu osjećamo prema onima koji nisu više sa nama, neka im je rahmet i pokoj duši. Oni su u odbranu BiH ugradili najviše što su imali -svoje živote i naša je stalna obaveza da čuvamo sjećanje na njihovu žrtvu, i da tu poruku prenosimo budućim generacijama, da je pamtimo kao dio istorije na putu ka očuvanju opstojnosti slobodne i demokratske države Bosne i Hercegovine.
Ovom prilikom upućujem izraze suosjećanja i dubokog poštovanja svim članovima porodica šehida i poginulih boraca.
Svim pripadnicima Armije RBiH, veteranima odbrambeno-oslobodilačkog rata, ratnim vojnim invalidima, šehidskim i porodicama poginulih i nestalih boraca izražavamo poštovanje, i neizmjernu zahvalnost na dosljednom zalaganju za zaštitu prava njenih pripadnika i očuvanju tekovina odbrambeno-oslobodilačkog rata 1992.-95. godine.
