BiH: Dan sjećanja na 614 srušenih džamija, 218 mesdžida, 69 mekteba…
Islamska zajednica u BiH danas 7. maja, obilježava Dan džamija, u znak sjećanja na dan kada je u Banja Luci 1993. godine minirana džamija Ferhadija, jedna od najznačajnijih džamija u Bosni i Hercegovini, prenosi Patria.
Banjalučka Ferhadija, monumentalna zadužbina Ferhat-paše Sokolovića, bila je jedna od 16 džamija srušenih u Banja Luci tokom rata u Bosni i Hercegovini od 1992. do 1995. godine.
Odlukom Rijaseta Islamske zajednice u Bosni i Hercegovini, 7. maj je proglašen Danom džamija, kada se simbolično obilježava rušenja Ferhadije u Banja Luci, ali i ostalih 613 džamija, 218 mesdžida, 69 mekteba, četiri tekije, 37 turbeta i 405 drugih objekata u vlasništvu Islamske zajednice.
Uništeno više od 80 posto džamija
Na teritoriji pod kontrolom Vojske Republike Srpske srušene su 534 džamije, a na teritoriji koju je kontrolisalo Hrvatsko vijeće odbrane 80 džamija.
U Bosni i Hercegovini je za vrijeme rata 1992-1995. uništeno ili oštećeno više od 80 posto od 1.144 džamije, koliko ih je bilo u Bosni i Hercegovini prije 1992. godine.
Prema evidenciji Rijaseta IZ, na području BiH ukupno ima 1.912 džamija.
Prema evidenciji Rijaseta IZ-a od prošle godine, na području BiH ukupno ima 2.822 objekata: 1.912 džamija, od kojih je 789 obnovljeno, 83 još nije obnovljeno, 140 objekata iz mesdžida pretvoreno je u džamije i 554 novosagrađenih džamijskih objekata.
Ukupan broj mesdžida je 910, obnovljenih 386, neobnovljenih 74 i 287 novoizgrađenih mesdžida.
Sjećanje na Murata Badića
Sedmi maj je i sjećanje na tragično stradanje Murata Badića koji je u Banjaluci na dan polaganja kamena temeljca za ponovnu izgradnju Ferhadije 7. maja 2001. godine zadobio povrede od kojih je kasnije preminuo.
Tada je oko 4.000 nacionalista kamenovalo i tuklo oko 300 Bošnjaka koji su prisustvovali svečanosti povodom postavljanja kamena temeljca.
Svečanost otvaranja obnovljene Ferhadija džamije upriličena je 7. maja 2016. godine i jedna je od najljepših u BiH.
