Erdogan: Izraelski napadi u Jerusalemu su atak na sve muslimane, moramo zajedno reagirati
Turski predsjednik Recep Tayyip Erdogan razgovarao je telefonom odvojeno s jordanskim kraljem Abdullahom II i kuvajtskim emirom šeikom Nawafom Al-Ahmadom Al-Sabahom.
Prema saopćenju turske Uprave za komunikacije, trojica čelnika razgovarala su o izraelskim napadima na Palestince i džamiju Al-Aqsa koji su u toku. Svi su muslimani zapravo “adresati” izraelskih neljudskih napada na Jerusalem, džamiju Al-Aqsa i Palestince, rekao je Erdogan tokom razgovora s kraljem Abdullahom II.
Erdogan je naglasio važnost zajedničkog rada na zaustavljanju izraelskih napada koji su “vrijedni prezira”.
Napetosti su narasle u naselju Sheikh Jarrah u istočnom Jerusalemu od prošle sedmice, nakon što je izraelski sud naložio deložaciju palestinskih porodica. Palestinci koji protesitraju u znak solidarnosti sa stanovnicima Sheikh Jarraha na meti su izraelskih snaga.
Izrael je okupirao Istočni Jerusalem tokom arapsko-izraelskog rata 1967. i anektirao cijeli grad 1980. godine, što je potez koji međunarodna zajednica nikada nije priznala.
Turski ministar vanjskih poslova razgovarao je telefonom sa svojim palestinskim i tuniskim kolegama, kao i glavnim sekretarom Organizacije za islamsku saradnju (OIC) Yousefom Al-Othaimeenom usred izraelskih napada na Palestince i džamiju Al-Aqsa.
Turski ministar vanjskih poslova Mevlut Cavusoglu, njegov palestinski kolega Rijad al Maliki i tuniski kolega Othman Jerandi razgovarali su o najnovijim događanjima u Jerusalemu i koracima koje treba poduzeti na međunarodnoj sceni.
