Erdogan: A šta sam trebao? Šutjeti?
Turska će nastaviti podizati svoj glas protiv nasilja i progona nevinih ljudi, poručio je u srijedu predsjednik Turske Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“U Palestini, pred očima svih, najsavremenijim teškim naoružanjem bivaju ubijeni na stotine nevinih ljudi, većinom djeca i žena. U Al-Qudsu, u Gazi nisu samo djeca ta koja umiru, tamo umire čovječanstvo i humanost”, rekao je Erdogan u obraćanju povodom obilježavanja 19. maja, Dana sjećanja na Ataturka i praznika omladine i sporta u Turskoj.
“Govore ‘Erdogan ne bi trebao tako govoriti’. A šta sam trebao? Šutjeti? Mi na nepravdu, na zulum ne šutimo, najglasniji smo protiv toga”, dodao je.
Kako je kazao, mnogi ipak samo nijemo posmatraju nasilje, zločine i tiraniju nad Palestincima i Gazom.
“Međunarodne organizacije i države koje govore o demokratiji, ljudskim pravima, pravdi, slobodi i sigurnosti, nijemo posmatraju ovu tiraniju”, rekao je turski predsjednik te dodao da nije uvijek pravilo da je snažniji uvijek u pravu.
“Turska je za uspostavljanje svijeta u kojem vjerujemo da će onaj koji je u pravu uvijek biti jači”, kazao je Erdogan.
Poručio je također kako Turska ne može samo nijemo slušati krike nedužnih Palestinaca koji su izloženi brutalnim izraelskim napadima.
“Ako danas prešutimo napade na Al-Quds, znamo da će sutra red doći i na druge naše svete gradove. Oni koji začepe uši pred kricima nedužnih zbog izraelske tiranije, zapravo pripremaju podlogu za vlastitu katastrofu”, rekao je Erdogan.
“Mržnja, sukobi i nasilje događaju se u većini mjesta na kojima su naši preci mirno živjeli u ozračju pravde i sigurnosti”, dodao je Erdogan, misleći na višestoljetno mirno doba tokom osmanskog upravljanja područjem današnjeg Izraela i okupiranih palestinskih teritorija.
“Ako se mora platiti cijena da bismo se oduprli nasilju i progonu nevinih i zaštitili potlačene, nikada nećemo oklijevati da je platimo”, rekao je Erdogan.
Izrael od 10. maja iz zraka i s kopna vrši napade na Pojas Gaze. Uprkos reakcijama iz svijeta, Izrael je nastavio žestoke napade na Gazu u kojoj živi oko dva miliona stanovnika. Najmanje 221 Palestinac je ubijen u tim napadima, uključujući 63 djece i 36 žena, a još 1.530 osoba je ranjeno.
Na kraju je još podsjetio da je Turska u protekle dvije decenije ostvarila veliki napredak na svim poljima.
“Zahvaljujući okruženju stabilnosti i sigurnosti u posljednjih 19 godina, naša država je dobila mogućnost ostvarivanja svog stvarnog potencijala na svim poljima”, istakao je predsjednik Turske.
