Evropska unija: Poricanje genocida je u suprotnosti sa osnovnim evropskim vrijednostima

Iz sjedišta Evropske unije u Briselu za Klix.ba je rečeno da su upoznati sa donošenjem Zakona o izmjenama i dopunama Krivičnog zakona Bosne i Hercegovina koje je donio visoki predstavnik Valentin Inzko.”Da budemo jasni: Revizionizam i poricanje genocida su u suprotnosti sa najosnovnijim evropskim vrijednostima. Pomirenje je jedan od ključnih prioriteta iz Mišljenja Evropske komisije koje Bosna i Hercegovina mora ispuniti da bi napredovala na svom putu ka EU”, rekao je glasnogovornik Evropske unije u Briselu u vezi s ovim pitanjem, navodi se u odgovoru koj je za Klix.ba dostavljen iz Delegacije EU u BiH.
Kako se dodaje, EU je bila vrlo jasna u vezi sa svojim očekivanjima u tom pogledu, i nedavno u zajedničkoj izjavi visokog predstavnika EU Josepa Borrella i komesara Olivéra Várhelyija povodom obilježavanja 26. godišnjice genocida u Srebrenici.
EU očekuje od lidera u Bosni i Hercegovini da suvereno djeluju na poduzimanju konkretnih koraka i promovišu okruženje pogodno za pomirenje kako bi se pevazišlo naslijeđa rata.
“EU je nedvosmisleno posvećena suverenitetu, cjelovitosti i teritorijalnom integritetu Bosne i Hercegovine. EU snažno poziva sve političke lidere da se suzdrže od zapaljive i retorike podjela, kao i od poduzimanja bilo kakvih koraka koji bi ugrozili EU perspektivu zemlje”, stoji u odogovoru za Klix.
Valentin Inzko, visoki predstavnik u Bosni i Hercegovini, nametnuo je dopune o Krivičnom zakonu Bosne i Hercegovine, kojima se zabranjuje i kažnjava negiranje genocida.
