Počela vježba “EUFOR – Brzi odgovor 2021”
U bazi Butmir kod Sarajeva danas je otvorena vježba “EUFOR – Brzi odgovor 2021”, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA).
EUFOR godišnju vježbu održava od 26. septembra do 1. oktobra, a ovom vježbom provjerava se sposobnost EUFOR-a da izvrši pozivanje i raspoređivanje rezervnih snaga koje se nalaze izvan BiH, a koje zemlje učesnice drže na visokom nivou pripravnosti.
U prisustvu predstavnika Oružanih snaga BiH i Državne agencije za istrage i zaštitu (SIPA) izvršeno je postrojavanje potpuno integrisanih vojnika iz više zemalja.
Na ceremoniji otvaranja vježbe, generalmajor Alexander Platzer, komandant EUFOR-a, obratio se vojnicima Multinacionalnog bataljona među kojima su i pripadnici Rezervnih snaga EUFOR-a (IRF).
– Ovo će biti najveća i najambicioznija od svih naših vježbi koje se održavaju ove godine, a aktivnosti obuke izvodit će se na više područja širom Bosne i Hercegovine – kazao je on.
Dodao je da će ovogodišnja vježba ponovo okupiti bh. agencije za provođenje zakona, Oružane snage BiH i i EUFOR s ciljem provjere planova za vanredne situacije, kao i sposobnosti.
– Zajedno ćemo pokazati da građani BiH mogu biti sigurni u našu zajedničku posvećenost održavanju sigurnog i stabilnog okruženja – kazao je Platzer.
Prema njegovim riječima, vježbama pod nazivom “Brzi odgovor” testiraju se kompleksni mehanizmi za aktiviranje i integriranje rezervnih snaga EUFOR-a sa trupama u području operacije.
On je posebnu dobrodošlicu zaželio jedinicama koje će učestvovati u vježbi “EUFOR – Brzi odgovor 2021”, a koje nisu u sastavu EUFOR-a.
– To su jedinice agencija za provođenje zakona, Oružanih snaga BiH, predstavnici taktičkih rezervnih snaga NATO-a iz sastava KFOR-a, rezervnih snaga operativnog nivoa, zajedno sa trupama iz Austrije, Bugarske, Mađarske, Rumunije, Slovačke i Turske, a svi su nam se pridružili u svrhu izvođenja ove vježbe.
Ustvari, kada uračunamo snage iz BiH u vježbi “EUFOR – Brzi odgovor 2021” aktivno će učestvovati vojnici iz ukupno osam zemalja, što pokazuje da smo kolektivno posvećeni našem primarnom cilju a to je da budemo spremni osigurati sigurno i stabilno okruženje – rekao je on.
Zaželivši učesnicima uspjeh na vježbi, dodao je da vjeruje da će to biti iskustvo iz kojeg će svi puno naučiti i da će misija EUFOR-a biti jača zbog toga, kao da će odnosi sa domaćim partnerima biti još bolji.
Tokom vježbe biće izvršena provjera vojnika prema različitim scenarijima kako bi se ispitala njihova reakcija i utvrdilo da li je intenzivni program integracije obavljen u bazi Butmir bio uspješan.
EUFOR-ovu operaciju Althea trenutno čine snage 19 zemalja sa mandatom da pruže podršku BiH te pomognu u očuvanju sigurnog i stabilnog okruženja.
