Izetbegović: Država Bosna i Hercegovina je temelj i okvir opstanka Bošnjaka

DAN BOŠNJAKA

Predsjednik Stranke demokratske akcije (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović uputio je čestitku povodom Dana Bošnjaka.

Podsjeća da je u najtežim danima naše novije historije, 27. i 28. septembra 1993. godine, u opkoljenom Sarajevu, održan Prvi bošnjački sabor, čije odluke su odredile sudbinu bošnjačkog naroda i naše domovine Bosne i Hercegovine.

“Bošnjački sabor odbio je trojnu podjelu zemlje, i donio historijsku odluku o vraćanju nacionalnig imena Bošnjak i jezika – bosanski. Oduzimanje prava na ime naroda i ime jezika, pokušaj asimilacije kroz utapanje u tuđe kulture i tradicije, praksa je s kojom su Bošnjaci bili kroz stoljeće suočeni. Bio je to pokušaj negiranja egzistencije samog naroda, koji je vodio pokušaju fizičkog istrebljenja tokom posljednje agresije”, naveo je Izetbegović.

Kako ističe, sve te nasrtaje i izazove Bošnjaci su savladali, i u najtežim okolnostima uspjeli da, zajedno sa drugim bh. patriotama, obnove nezavisnost Bosne i Hercegovine, te da reafirmiraju vlastiti identitet, vjeru i kulturu.

“Plaćena je ogromna cijena slobode, ali Bošnjaci su izborili poziciju političkog faktora bez kojeg nema kalkulacije ne samo u Bosni i Hercegovini, već i u cijelom regionu. Uz sve probleme, osporavanja i otpore, Bosna i Hercegovina je danas suverena, jedinstvena i samostalna država. Predstoji nam pravna borba da punu ravnopravnost Bošnjaka u svim dijelovima Bosne i Hercegovine, kao i politička borba da Bosnu i Hercegovinu učinimo modernom i prosperitetnom evropskom državom u kojoj će svi građani, bez obzira na etničku i vjersku pripadnost živjeti ravnopravno”, navodi se.

Pri tome, dodao je, uvijek moramo imati na umu da su Bošnjaci vezivno tkivo Bosne i Hercegovine, a država Bosna i Hercegovina temelj i okvir opstanka Bošnjaka.

“Naša obaveza je i da nastavimo jačati veze i razvijati saradnju sa Bošnjacima koji žive u okolnim državama kao domicilno stanovništvo, te da jačamo i intenziviramo saradnju sa našom dijasporom. Prisjećajući se historijski važnog Prvog bošnjačkog sabora i njegovih dalekosežnih odluka, svim pripadnicima bošnjačkog naroda čestitam Dan Bošnjaka”, naveo je predsjednik SDA Bakir Izetbegović.
