Komšić stigao u Glasgow na COP26, dočekali ga Boris Johnson i Antonio Guterres
Željko Komšić, predsjedavajući Predsjedništva Bosne i Hercegovine stigao je u Glasgow, gdje će predstavljati Bosnu i Hercegovinu sa drugim svjetskim liderima na UN konferenciji o klimatskim promjenama COP26 kojije otvoren danas u Glasgowu.
Dobrodošlicu su mu priredili Boris Johnson, premijer Velike Britanije i Antonio Guterres, generalni sekretar Ujedinjenih nacija.
Nakon zvaničnog otvaranja konferencije, planirano je da Komšić održi niz bilateralnih sastanaka, a potom prisustvuje svečanoj večeri svjetskih lidera, na kojoj će biti i premijer Boris Johnson, predsjednik SAD Joseph Biden, princ William, i niz drugih svjetskih lidera.
Komšićevo obraćanje svjetskim liderima planirano je za utorak ujutro, kada će imati priliku govoriti o Bosni i Hercegovini i problemima sa kojima se susrećemo u energetskoj tranziciji, a nakon čega će na poziv predsjednika Bidena i predsjednice Evropske komisije Ursule von der Leyen prisustovati odvojenom sastanku o temi ograničavanja emisija metana.
UN-ova Konferencija, pod nazivom COP26, smatra se historijskim događajem u borbi protiv klimatskih promjena na kojoj se očekuje prisustvo 25.000 delegata iz cijelog svijeta.
