Vučić preko Grenella “nudi Dodikovu glavu” Amerikancima, ima i zamjenu za njega
Predsjednik Srbije Aleksandar Vučić ponudio se preko lobiste Richarda Grenella da pomogne politički pad člana Predsjedništva Bosne i Hercegovine Milorada Dodika.
Kako podgoričke Vijesti saznaju, Grenell se 1. decembra sastao u Trump hotelu u Washingtonu sa grupom kongresmena iz Republikanske stranke, a sastanku je prisustvovao i ambasador Srbije u SAD-u Marko Đurić, dugogodišnji bliski saradnik Vučića.
Grenell, koji je bio specijalni izaslanik bivšeg američkog predsjednika Donalda Trumpa za Kosovo i pregovore Beograda i Prištine, na tom sastanku Dodika je predstavio kao veliki remetilački faktor na Balkanu, a Vučića kao partnera i stabilizatora prilika.
Među kongresmenima koji su bili na sastanku su bili Claudia Tenney, Mike Turner i Nikol Maliotakos. Ni oni, niti Grenell nisu odgovorili na pitanja Vijesti u vezi s tim susretom.
Grenell je na sastanku naveo da bi Vučić bio spreman da pomogne povlačenje ili uklanjanje Dodika, a da je kao alternativu nudio Željku Cvijanović. Zauzvrat, Vučić se nada da bi tako mogao da poboljša okrnjeni imidž, a naročito uoči izbora koji dolaze na proljeće.
Grupa američkih kongresmena iz Demokrata je nedavno uputila pismo američkom predsjedniku Joeu Bidenu u kojem je žestoko kritikovala predsjednika Srbije zbog navoda o korupciji i brutalnih pritisaka na medije, a zahtijevali su čak i razmatranje sankcija.
O vezama Grenella i Vučića su već ranije pisali mediji u Srbiji, a prenesena je i tvrdnja Dušana Janjića iz Foruma za etničke odnose da Srbija papreno plaća Grenellove usluge, što je iz Vlade Srbije neubjedljivo demantovano. U medijima su se pojavljivali izvještaji da je Grenell bio na večeri sa Vučićem i Anom Brnabić, a isplivala je i fotografija sa Sinišom Malim iz noćnog kluba Lafajet u Beogradu.
Bez obzira na to što Demokrate imaju većinu, utjecaj Republikanske stranke je i dalje ogroman, a nadaju se da će 2022. moći da osvoje većinu u oba zastupnička doma, pa izvor Vijesti navodi da zbog toga nije neobično što Vučić i dalje drži Grenella kao lobistu.
Cvijanović je u novembru putovala u SAD i imala sastanke sa ljudima iz Kongresa i američke administracije, ali nije bilo zvaničnih informacija o temama sastanka.
Vijesti saznaju i da se Vučić na Dodika požalio i izaslaniku Evropske unije za Balkan Miroslavu Lajčaku tokom posljednjeg susreta u Beogradu.
