QUO VADIS, AIDA?
Na večerašnjoj 34. po redu dodjeli Europskih filmskih nagrada, bh. film je pobijedio u čak tri kategorije. Nakon nagrade za najbolju evropsku redateljicu, najbolju glumicu, najboljim evropskim filmom 2021. proglašen je “Quo Vadis, Aida?”.Na dodjeli “Evropskog Oscara” ovo je prvi put da pobjedu u kategoriji najbolji film odnese filmsko ostvarenje sa prostora zemalja bivše Jugoslavije.
Nakon osvajanja nagrade za najbolji evropski film, Žbanić je kazala kako se nada da će ovo potaknuti više ženske solidarnosti, ženskih perspektiva u politici, umjetnosti i životu.
“Imamo odgovornost da našim publikama dajemo istinu, možda je to teška istina, možda nije profitabilna, ali moramo imati kompleksne priče kako bi naša publika bila spremna za kompleksna vremena koja su krenula”, rekla je ona.
Film je nominiran do sada i za nagradu Američke Filmske Akademije Oscar i Nagrade Britanske Filmske Akademije BAFTA te dobitnik je Independent Spirit Awardsa i više od 30 nagrada sa različitih svjetskih festivala.
