Reprezentativac Omana Mukhaled Al-Raqadi preminuo je u 29. godini od posljedica srčanog udara nakon što se srušio tokom zagrijavanja pred početak utakmice između njegovog kluba Muscata i Al Suwaiqa u okviru domaćeg šampionata.
Službena lica, igrači i dužnosnici oba tima bili su vidno dirnuti i šokirani onim što se desilo, te su u suzama ispratili tragičan događaj na utakmici koja je prekinuta i prije samog početka.
Al-Raqadi je odmah prevezen u bolnicu, ali je preminuo nekoliko sati nakon dolaska, što je potvrdio i njegov klub.
