Novaku Đokoviću odbijena viza za Australiju
Australija je ponovno odbila vizu najboljem teniseru svijeta Novaku Đokoviću i namjerava ga deportirati.
Ministar za imigracije Alex Hawke odbio je vizu teniseru Novaku Đokoviću, a u priopćenju je rekao da je odlučio iskoristiti svoju ovlast prema članku 133C(3) Zakona o migracijama da bi poništio vizu na temelju zdravlja i dobrog reda, kao i da je to bilo u javnom interesu.
“Ova odluka uslijedila je nakon naloga Federalnog okružnog i obiteljskog suda od 10. siječnja 2022., poništavajući prethodnu odluku o poništenju iz razloga pravičnosti postupka. Prilikom donošenja ove odluke, pažljivo sam razmotrio informacije koje su mi dali Ministarstvo unutarnjih poslova, australske granične službe i gospodin Đoković. Morrisonova vlada čvrsto je opredijeljena zaštiti australskih granica, posebno u vezi s pandemijom covida-19. Zahvaljujem službenicima Ministarstva unutarnjih poslova i australskih graničnih snaga koji svaki dan rade kako bi služili interesima Australije u sve izazovnijim operativnim okruženjima”, stoji u priopćenju ministra Hawkea.
