Evropska unija objavila sadržaj sankcija Rusiji
Evropsko vijeće i Evropska komisija objavili su zajedničko saopštenje o prvom paketu sankcija Rusiji, čije se uvođenje očekuje danas poslijepodne.
Evropska unija (EU) saopštila je da je spreman prvi paket sankcija protiv Rusije te da obuhvata one koji su odlučili priznati separatiste u Ukrajini, banke koje su finansirale rusku vojsku, pristup Rusije kapitalu i financijskim tržištima EU-a te trgovinu sa separatističkim regijama, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA).

Naglašeno da je odluka Rusije da prizna Donjenc i Lugansk te da pošalje vojsku u regiju nezakonita i neprihvatljiva te da predstavlja kršenje međunarodnog prava.
U saopštenju je navedeno da će prvi paket sankcija biti zvanično predstavljen nakon neformalnog sastanka ministara spoljnih poslova EU-a, koji će se održati danas poslijepodne, potom će paket biti finalizovan bez odgađanja.
Prijedlozi u sadržaju paketa sankcija koje je pripremila EU usmjereni su na mogućnost ruske države i vlade da pristupe kapitalu i finansijskim tržištima i uslugama EU-a, zatim ograničenje finansiranja eskalacijskih i agresivnih politika. Na meti su i banke uključene u finansiranje separatističkih aktivnosti u istočnoj Ukrajini. Dvije separatističke regije takođe bi mogle biti isključene iz sporazuma o slobodnoj trgovini između EU-a i Ukrajine, kako bi se osiguralo da odgovorni jasno osjete ekonomske posljedice svojih nezakonitih i agresivnih radnji.
Istaknuto je da je EU spremna poduzeti dodatne mjere u budućnosti s obzirom na razvoj događaja te da je EU stala uz Ukrajinu.
