Kanada uvodi sankcije Rusiji i šalje vojsku u Ukrajinu
Govoreći na konferenciji za novinare, Trudeau je rekao da Kanada “snažno osuđuje” potez ruskog predsjednika Vladimira Putina u vezi s Luhanskom i Donjeckom
Premijer Kanade Justin Trudeau predstavio je u utorak prvi krug ekonomskih sankcija Rusiji dan nakon što je Moskva priznala nezavisnost dviju samoproglašenih proruskih republika na istoku Ukrajine, prenosi Anadolu (AA).
Govoreći na konferenciji za novinare, Trudeau je rekao da Kanada “snažno osuđuje” potez ruskog predsjednika Vladimira Putina u vezi s Luhanskom i Donjeckom.
“Nemojte se zavaravati. Ovo je dalja invazija suverene države i apsolutno je neprihvatljiva. Provokacije Rusije su prijetnja sigurnosti i miru u svijetu”, rekao je Trudeau.
Trudeau je rekao da “prva runda” sankcija uključuje zabranu Kanađanima da imaju bilo kakve finansijske poslove sa Luhanskom i Donjeckom. Kanađanima je takođe zabranjeno da obavljaju finansijske poslove sa dvije ruske banke.
Trudeau je rekao da Kanada također sankcioniše sve članove ruskog parlamenta koji su slijedili Putinovo vodstvo i glasali za priznavanje dviju separatističkih regija.
Kanadski premijer je takođe objavio da njegova zemlja šalje 460 vojnika u Ukrajinu.
Rusija je priznala ukrajinske separatističke regije, takozvane republike Donjeck i Luhansk. Lideri Evropske unije i NATO-a, kao i brojne države najoštrije su osudili taj Putinov čin, ponovili podršku Ukrajini i najavili zajedničku reakciju.
