Kanada traži 48.000 vozača kamiona, plata do 64.000 eura

OTAVA – Kanada nudi primanja od 80.000 kanadskih dolara (oko 51.457 eura) na godišnjem nivou, ali uprkos tome ima problema s pronalaskom vozača kamiona, a uzrok tome su otežani uslovi rada.

Udruženje vozača kamiona u Kanadi saopštilo je da transportnom sektoru nedostaje 48.000 vozača širom zemlje, a potreba za njima treba biti zadovoljena do 2024. godine.

Mnoge kompanije u pokrajini Nju Brunsvik koje se bave transportom žale se na teške uslove za život i rad zbog kojih ne mogu da pronađu vozače koji će voziti na dugim relacijama.

Tako je u periodu između 2015. i 2017. godine zaposleno 390 vozača kamiona porijeklom iz stranih zemalja. U okviru pilot-projekta zaposleni su vozači iz Velike Britanije, Bugarske, Poljske, Ukrajine i Južnoafričke Republike.

Robert Trites, koji radi na projektu, kazao je kako je najveći problem s kojim se susreću to što vozači nakon dobijanja boravišne dozvole odlaze u Ontario ili pokrajine na zapadu.

Trites je kazao kako vozači uglavnom rade 10-12 dana bez prekida, nakon čega se odmaraju tri do četiri dana.

“S aspekta uslova, zaista nije privlačna industrija. Ljudi ne žele tako dugo biti daleko od kuće”, rekao je Trites.

Al Vitaker, koji ima kompaniju u Nju Brunsviku, kazao je kako se 30 godina bave transportom i da teško nalaze nove radnike.

“Naš najbolji vozač ima 74 godine i svake sedmice radi maksimalan broj sati. Jedan vozač ima 72 godine, a drugi 64. Samo noćas imamo 81 isporuku, a mi nemamo vozača”, rekao je.

Osnivač Edukacionih centara za transport Kanade Džon Biadri kazao je kako su plate vozačima godišnje povećane za skoro deset odsto. Napomenuo je kako vozači na duge relacije već prve godine zarađuju 100.000 kanadskih dolara, ali da uprkos tome nema dovoljno vozača.

“Kamioni stoje na parkingu”, požalio se.
