Podžić primio delegacije kompanija turske odbrambene industrije
Ministar odbrane Bosne i Hercegovine Sifet Podžić sa saradnicima primio je danas predstavnike kompanija turske odbrambene industrije “Roketsan”, “STM” i “Havelsan”.
Cilj posjete jeste da predstavnici odbrambene industrije Republike Turske steknu uvid i procijene stanje i potrebe Oružanih snaga BiH (OSBiH), u kontekstu potpisivanja Sporazuma o vojno-finansijskoj saradnji između Vijeća ministara BiH i Vlade Republike Turske, imajući u vidu Plan razvoja i modernizacije OSBiH 2017-2027. godina.
Ministar odbrane BiH je napomenuo da je Sporazumom o vojno-finansijskoj saradnji dogovorena finansijska pomoć između Vijeća ministara BiH i Vlade Republike Turske kojim se osigurava 200 miliona turskih lira (45 miliona konvertibilnih maraka) za MO i OSBiH, i taj novac će biti iskorišten za nabavljanje nove opreme od turske odbrambene industrije.
Podžić je naglasio da mu je drago vidjeti kako prijatelji Bosne i Hercegovine vojno-tehnološki napreduju, te je izrazio nadu nakon aktuelnih dešavanja u Ukrajini, da će Evropa razumjeti da je sigurnost prioritet broj jedan.
Na sastanku je, pored predstavnika kompanija, prisustvovao i vojni ataše Republike Turske u BiH brigadir Mustafa Sitki Tatar koji se zahvalio na prijemu te dodao da će ovi vidovi saradnje biti još jedan most spajanja dviju prijateljskih zemalja, saopćeno je iz Ministarstva odbrane BiH.
