Saga o kandidaturi Šehovića još nije razjašnjena, spominju se i pritisci da “ne ometa” Bećirovića
Najavljena kandidatura iz Stranke za Bosnu i Hercegovinu za člana Predsjedništva BiH iz reda bošnjačkog naroda još nije raspetljana jer se čeka instrukcija Centralne izborne komisije (CIK) i konačna odluka Nermina Šehovića.
Stranka za BiH je potvrdila da je prijavila Šehovića za člana Predsjedništva, ali Šehović nije potpisao kandidaturu jer kao policijski službenik ne može biti kandidat. On bi za kandidaturu trebao podnijeti ostavku, a hipotetički to može uraditi u periodu koju mu da CIK prilikom dopunjavanja dokumentacije.
Ipak, ukoliko Šehović odluči da ne prihvati kandidaturu sve će ostati neslavna epizoda, dijelom i za njega, a potpuno za Stranku za BiH. Doduše i samo dovođenje u poziciju da se nečije ime navodi u političkim krugovima u smislu kandidature za jednog policijskog službenika nije najidealnija reklama.
Informacija da je Šehović kandidiran u ime Stranke za BiH izazvala je mnogo reakcija, a najviše ih je išlo u pravcu da ga je stranka zloupotrijebila i da ga je prijavila bez njegovog znanja. Međutim, koliko ta priča pije vode je itekako upitno, naročito što Šehović nije negirao da je postojala komunikacija između njega i Stranke za BiH.
Klix.ba je ranije došao do informacija da je Šehović načelno pristao da bude prijavljen, ali da je računao da će predata dokumentacija biti nepotpuna te da u međuvremenu želi donijeti odluku hoće li okončati karijeru policijskog službenika i krenuti u političke vode ili ne. Komentari iz Stranke za BiH nakon otkrivanja cijele priče prvenstveno su bili usmjereni u pravcu kritike zakonodavstva koje onemogućava policijskom službeniku da bude kandidat već da ta osoba mora podnijeti ostavku.
Šehović je ekspresno saslušan u Federalnoj upravi policije, gdje je i zaposlen, a kako saznajemo upravo je u toj instituciji i dobio instrukcije da se medijima obrati u parku i poruči da nije kandidat. On je to uradio prilično konfuzno, kazavši samo da ne može biti zvanično kandidat jer nije potpisao kandidaturu, što je i logično poznavajući pravne propise kojih je Šehović itekako svjestan.
Međutim, Šehović je istovremeno istakao da mu prija podrška javnosti.
U međuvremenu, dok se čeka CIK da razmotri prijave i kandidatima i strankama da dodatni rok od nekoliko dana da upotpune dokumentaciju, čeka se i direktan stav Šehovića o kandidaturi. Kako nezvanično saznajemo na njega se vrši svojevrsni pritisak, čak i od nekih stranaca da ne ide u pravcu kandidature. Procjene su da bi njegova kandidatura donekle možda mogla odmoći Denisu Bećiroviću, kandidatu 11 stranaka, a moguće pomoći Bakiru Izetbegoviću (SDA).
Da li bi nekome pomogla, a nekome odmogla kandidatura Šehovića niko ne može sa sigurnošću tvrditi, ali je nesumnjivo i sama priča da bi ovaj policijski službenik mogao u političke vode izazvala brojne političke reakcije.
