PARIZ (AA) – Premijer Francuske Edouard Philippe saopćio je da je vlada te zemlje suspendirala odluku o uvođenju dodatnog poreza na gorivo i povećanje komunalnih usluga, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA).
Vlada je tako odustala od najavljenih mjera koje su izazvale masovne proteste i nerede koji su proteklog vikenda eskalirali nasiljem na ulicama Pariza.
Premijer Philippe kazao je da su najavljene mjere prolongirane za šest mjeseci i da neće biti implementirane u januaru naredne godine.
“Niti jedan porez nije toliko važan da se njim ugrožava jedinstvo nacije“, kazao je Philippe.
Više od stotinu ljudi je povrijeđeno i više od 400 uhapšeno tokom subotnjih nereda u centru Pariza.
