Viktor Orban servirao osvetu Briselu, Mađarska u noćnim satima stavila veto na pomoć Ukrajini

Nakon što su zvaničnici EU u Briselu bez učešća Mađarske glasali o otvaranju pregovora sa Ukrajinom i Moldavijom, može se reći kako je Viktor Orban vrlo brzo dočekao trenutak za osvetu.
Nekoliko sati nakon što je postignut dogovor o početku pregovora za članstvo ovih zemalja, države su glasale o tome da se Ukrajini rasporedi 50 milijardi eura pomoći.
Premijer Mađarske Viktor Orban iskoristio je trenutak, ali i zakone i pravila te je na ovu odluku stavio veto čime je ona blokirana.
“Sažetak noćne smjene. Veto za dodatni novac Ukrajini. Veto za reviziju višegodišnjeg finansijskog okvira Evropske unije. O ovim pitanjima ćemo razgovarati naredne godine nakon detaljne pripreme”, poručio je Orban.
Ovakav potez Mađarske dolazi samo nekoliko sati nakon što je predsjednik Evropskog vijeća Charles Michel saopćio kako je 26 zemalja postiglo konsenzus o tome da Ukrajina otpočne pregovore za pristupanje EU.
U trenutku glasanja za ovu odluku premijer Mađarske Viktor Orban napustio je salu te je poručio kako Mađarske neće glasati za ovu odluku te da je u ovom trenutku ulazak Ukrajine u EU loše rješenje.
“Nakon gotovo osam sati za pregovaračkim stolom na samitu u Briselu, vodili smo intenzivnu raspravu o članstvu Ukrajine u EU. Stav Mađarske je jasan: Ukrajina nije spremna za pregovore o članstvu u EU. Pokrenuti pregovore u ovim okolnostima je besmisleno, iracionalno i pogrešno”, napisao je Orban na društvenoj mreži X.
Osim Ukrajine, početak pregovora otvoren je i za Moldaviju, a status kandidata dobila je Gruzija. Kada je riječ o Bosni i Hercegovini, briselski zvaničnici ponovili su stav da će BiH početi pregovore u martu ukoliko se ostvare svi uslovi i usvoje određeni zakoni koji su neophodni na putu BiH ka EU.
