Stari grad Srebrenik: Blago skriveno iza debelih zidina

Stari grad Srebrenik (u Srebreniku ga zovu Gradina), prvi put se spominje 15. februara 1333. godine u ugovoru koji su pod Srebrenikom (tzv. Srebrenička povelja) zaključili Ban Stjepan II Kotromanić sa jedne i predstavnici Dubrovačke Republike sa druge strane o ustupanju Stona, Pelješca, Prevlake i još nekih posjeda Republici u zamjenu za godišnji danak od 500 perpera, piše Samir Zahiragić.

Srebrenička kula jedna od najočuvanijih tvrđava iz srednjeg vijeka u BiH bila je dom bosanskog bana Stjepana Kotromanića sve do njegove smrti.

Stari grad Srebrenik sastoji se iz tri dijela koja se nadovezuju jedan na drugi sa četiri kule i omanjim dvorcem. Donji grad čini ulazna kvadratna četvorostrana kula – kapija sa pomoćnom zgradom i dvorištem. Odatle se pored zaobljene četvorostrane kule stiže do platoa na kome se nalazi kasarna, odakle, pored kvadratne četvorostrane kule, vode kamene stepenice do kapije Gornjeg grada odnosno Srebreničke citadele.

U citadeli se nalazi manji dvorac, pored koga je na vrhu stijene iznad ulazne gradske kule – kapije smješten veliki okrugli četvorostrani Donžon.

U periodu poslije Osmanlija Srebrenik je bio u izvjesnoj historijskoj zaleđini, pa nema puno svjedočenja o gradu iz perioda austro-ugarske vladavine niti Kraljevine Jugoslavije. Ponovno buđenje doživljava poslije Drugog svjetskog rata.

Ako dolazite prvi put, u centru Srebrenika na semaforima pratite putokaz za Gornji Srebrenik i strmom cestom krenite prema Gradini. Nakon pet kilometara vožnje na velikoj raskrsnici, između seoskog mezarja i trgovine, skrenite desno. Nakon oko 200 metara vožnje ili šetnje po lošem makadamskom putu, naći ćete se na odredištu. Iza metar i pol debelih vanjskih zidova ovog impresivnog zdanja skriva se pravo historijsko blago.

Tvrđava je za posjetitelje otvorena od 8 do 18 sati u ljetnom periodu, a u zimskom od 9 do 17. Cijena ulaznice je simbolična – jedna marka.
