Snijeg donio probleme: U Austriji ne rade telefoni, desetine hiljada Francuza bez struje
Stanovnici su pozvani da redovno čiste snijeg oko svojih kuća i prilaznih puteva, ali i da izbjegavaju boraviti u blizini stabala zbog opasnosti od urušavanja
Obilna kiša, ali i gust snijeg izazvali su probleme u Istočnom Tirolu u Austriji. Stanovnici istočnog alpskog područja upozoreni su na veliku vjerovatnost nestanka struje, telefonske linije već su u prekidu, a ne rade ni mobiteli.
Stanovnici su pozvani da redovno čiste snijeg oko svojih kuća i prilaznih puteva, ali i da izbjegavaju boraviti u blizini stabala zbog opasnosti od urušavanja. I za ovo je područje najavljeno još padavina tokom nedjelje.
Oko 145.000 ljudi u subotu je još uvijek bez struje u jugoistočnoj Francuskoj nakon prvih ovogodišnjih većih snježnih padavina. Nestankom električne energije pogođeni su departmani Drome, Isere, Rhone, Loire i Ardeche, saopćio je operater, dodajući kako timovi tehničara rade na obnovi opskrbe strujom.
Oluje su u četvrtak navečer pogodile istočnu i centralnu Francusku i jedno vrijeme više od 330.000 domova je bilo bez električne energije.
U četvrtak navečer u departmanu Isere poginuo je 63-godišnji muškarac kada je na njega palo drvo dok je s ceste nastojao ukloniti drugo drvo, izvijestila je javna radiotelevizija FranceInfo.
Nekoliko cesta je zatvoreno zbog snijega i leda, a škole su i dalje zatvorene u nekim oblastima. Željeznički saobraćaj je isto tako pogođen.
