Adis Ahmetović novi izvjestitelj Bundestaga za zapadni Balkan
Važna uloga izvjestitelja Bundestaga za zapadni Balkan pripala je mladom socijaldemokratskom političaru Adisu Ahmetoviću. Njegova glavna težnja je, kako je rekao, da svoju funkciju iskoristi za stabilizaciju regije.
– Na činjenicu da moja obitelj dolazi iz Bosne i Hercegovine sam uvijek gledao kao na prednost i kao neku vrstu obogaćenja – rekao je u razgovoru za DW novi zastupnik vladajuće Socijaldemokratske stranke Njemačke (SPD) Adis Ahmetović.
Ahmetović je funkciju izvjestitelja Bundestaga za zapadni Balkan preuzeo od još jednog socijaldemokratskog političara, zastupnika hrvatskog porijekla Josipa Juratovića. Ova dva socijaldemokratska zastupnika od samog ulaska Adisa Ahmetovića u Bundestag tijesno surađuju kada su u pitanju teme vezane za zapadni Balkan.
Sredinom novembra Ahmetović i Juratović, nekoliko tjedana nakon što je Ahmetović direktnim mandatom u izbornoj jedinici Hannover-Stadt I izabran u Bundestag, susreli su se u Stuttgartu sa članom predsjedništva Bosne i Hercegovine Željkom Komšićem. Već tada se Ahmetović počeo kritički izjašnjavati o destabilizirajućoj ulozi predstavnika Republike Srpske.
– Očito bi se sa srpske strane trebao potkopati mirovni sporazum iz Daytona i to tako što srpski predstavnik u predsjedništvu Milorad Dodik dovodi u pitanje državne strukture – rekao je tada Ahmetović i izrazio mišljenje kako bi se takvi postupci trebali zaustaviti “kroz međunarodne sankcije i pojačanje međunarodnog vojnog prisustva” u BiH.
Nekoliko mjeseci kasnije, tačnije 6. januara, nakon što je SAD uveo sankcije protiv Milorada Dodika i dijela njegovog okruženja, Ahmetović, sada već član Vanjskopolitičkog odbora Bundestaga, je izrazio želju da slične korake poduzme i Njemačka.
– Sankcije SAD-a predstavljaju nužan i ispravan korak kojemu se treba pridružiti i Njemačka. Mi moramo odlučno djelovati protiv onih koji provode korupciju i destabilizaciju i unose razdor u regiji kao i protiv onih koji to omogućavaju i podržavaju – poručio je Ahmetović.
