Ambasador EU: Očekujemo poduzimanje robusne akcije da se stane u kraj blokadama u BiH

Predstavnik Evropske unije u Vijeću sigurnosti UN-a u svom je obraćanju na današnjoj sjednici istakao snažnu podršku EU radu visokog predstavnika u BiH Christiana Schmidta.
Kako je rekao u uvodu svog obraćanja EU pozdravlja njegov izvještaj o stanju u Bosni i Hercegovini.
“Iako nije danas tu s nama, želimo izraziti snažnu podršku radu Christiana Schmidta i institucije Ureda visokog predstavnika u Bosni i Hercegovini”, kazao je predstavnik EU.
Dodao je da je BiH pokazala veliki napredak u 2019. godini u provođenju prioriteta koje su uslov za pridruživanje EU.
“Urgirali smo da nastave s tim i u ovoj neizbornoj godini, da nastave s izbornim reformama i da se sljedeći izbori provedu po EU standardima”, dodao je ambasador EU.
No, kako je rekao, blokada institucija, koja je na djelu, dovela je do toga da su svi pozitivni procesi bačeni u drugi plan.
“Osuđujemo retoriku koja ugrožava teritorijalni integritet zemlje, kao i blokiranje njenih institucija. EU poziva odgovorne političke aktore da prestannu sa secesionističkom retorikom. Očekujemo poduzimanje robusne akcije da se stane u kraj blokadama”, kazao je ambasador EU u Vijeću sigurnosti UN-a.
