Američka ambasadorica u UN-u: Prekinuti sa zapaljivom retorikom u BiH, posebno Dodik

Ambasadorica SAD-a u Vijeću sigurnosti UN-a Linda Thomas-Greenfield pružila je punu podršku visokom predstavniku Christianu Schmidtu i OHR-u te upozorila bh. lidere da prestanu s opasnom i zapaljivom retorikom, a posebno lider SNSD-a Milorad Dodik te da se deblokira rad državnih institucija.
“Drago nam je da je visoki predstavnik Schmidt poslao čistu poruku o važnosti mira i stabilnosti. Zahvalni smo na izvještaju visokog predstavnika Christiana Schmidta. Iako nije ovdje s nama danas, pozdravljamo ga i zahvaljujemo na doprinosu i budućem radu u OHR-u u BiH, ima našu punu podršku. BiH se suočava s najdubljom političkom krizom u postratnoj historiji. Tu su opasna retorika, zahtjevi za zatvaranjem OHR-a i izborne reforme”, rekla je.
Ona je kazala da lider SNSD-a Milorad Dodik ima opasnu retoriku.
“Dodik je pozvao da se RS povuče iz Oružanih snaga BIH i drugih institucija BiH poput UIO, OSA-e… On govori i o potpunom povlačenju RS-a iz BiH. SAD podržava izjavu visokog predstavnika da je ovo opasno i za BiH i za cijeli Zapadni Balkan. Zabrinuti smo da Dodik pravi novi ustav za RS. Ovo je prijetnja za dejtonsku arhitekturu koja je osigurala mir i čuva ga do danas”, dodala je.
U posljednjih nekoliko mjeseci sve strane su dale određene opasne izjave, dodala je.
“Tražimo smirenost svih strana, da počnu raditi u korist građana BiH. To znači da se Predsjedništvo mora sastajati, institucije moraju biti operativne i na usluzi građanima. Moramo zaštiti ulogu OHR-a. On je važan za stabilnost BiH. Christian Schmidt ima našu punu podršku za provođenje civilnog aspekta Dejtonskog mirovnog sporazuma sve dok se ne ispuni 5+2. Tek tada BiH može napustiti međunarodnu superviziju”, rekla je.
Američka ambasadorica je istakla i važnost izbornih reformi i ograničenih izmjena ustava.
“Zvaničnici moraju implementirati sve presude sudova za ljudska prava i druge reforme, boriti se protiv korupcije i osigurati jednaka prava za sve građane BiH za izbore 2022. godine”, kazala je.
Istakla je kako je korupcija nedemokratska i iskra koja podriva stabilnost.
“Građani BIH zaslužuju bolje od svojih vlada. Ovo je delikatan momenat za BiH, ali sam sigurna da svi akteri moraju raditi na prosperitetu i boljoj budućnosti”, zaključila je.
