Arapska liga: Svijet treba priznati državu Palestinu, nema normalizacije i kompromisa sa Izraelom
U Kairu je održan vanredan sastanak Arapske lige, na kojem su šefovi diplomatija članica kritizirali odluku predsjednika Sjedinjenih Američkih Država Donalda Trampa (Trump) da prizna Jerusalem za prijestonicu Izraela.
Predsjedavajući Lige je pozvao zemlje svijeta da priznaju državu Palestinu sa istočnim Jerusalemom kao glavnim gradom.
Sastanak je trajao dva i po sata, a govorilo je skoro 20 delegata.
Predsjedavajući Arapske lige Ahmed Abul-Gejt je, na početku sastanka u petak uveče, pozvao zemlje svijeta da priznaju državu Palestinu sa istočnim Jerusalemom kao glavnim gradom, kao odgovor na odluku američkog predsjednika da Jerusalem prizna za prijestonicu Izraela.
Ta odluka, kako je naglasio, dovodi u pitanje ulogu Vašingtona kao mirovnog medijatora, ne samo na Bliskom istoku, već cijelom svijetu.
“Ta odluka postaje legalizacija okupacije”, kazao je Gejt, aludirajući na izraelsku okupaciju, a potom i aneksiju istočnog Jerusalema 1967. godine.
I palestinski ministar vanjskih poslova Rijad el-Maliki je pozvao na priznavanje države Palestine i istočnog Jerusalema kao glavnog grada.
Maliki je pozvao Ligu da naloži svojim izaslanicima u UN-u da podnesu nacrt rezolucije kojom se osuđuje Trampova odluka.
“Ukoliko ništa ne učinimo povodom ove (Trampove odluke), dogodit će se još mnogo tragedija. Nema normalizacije (sa Izraelom) i nema kompromisa”, poručio je irački ministar vanjskih poslova Ibrahim el-Džafari.
Ministar vanjskih poslova Libana Gibran Basil je ukazao da bi ova “nesreća trebalo da ih ujedini i trgne iz sna”.
“Neka se zna da nam historija nikada neće oprostiti, a naša budućnost neće biti ponosna na ono što smo učinili”, kazao je Basil.
Sastanak Arapske lige održan je u vrijeme kada se nastavljaju protesti već treći dan zaredom na Zapadnoj obali Pojasa Gaze.
