Bačena bomba na Ambasadu SAD u Podgorici, napadač se ubio

Na ambasadu Sjedinjenih Američkih Država u Podgorici oko ponoći bačena je bomba.
“Pola sata poslije ponoći ispred objekta Ambasade SAD jedna osoba izvršilo je samoubistvo eksplozivnom napravom. Neposredno prije samoubistva osoba je sa raskrsnice kod Sportskog centra ubacila u krug Ambasade SAD jednu eksplozivnu napravu. Najvjerovatnije je riječ o ručnoj bombi sa kašikom. U toku su uviđaj i identifikacija. Tužilac je na licu mjesta i rukovodi uviđajem. Uprava policije CG”, napisala je Vlada Crne Gore na Twitteru, prenosi Vijesti.me.Portparol Ambasade SAD Džef Adler je “Vijestima” potvrdio da se desio napad na Ambasadu i da službenici Ambasade rade sa policijom da bi se identifikovao napadač.

“Ambasada obavlja internu proceduru kako bi utvrdila sigurnost svog osoblja”, naveo je Adler.

Podsekretar Stejt departmenta Stiv Goldstin je kazao da su očevici vidjeli čovjeka kako baca objekat preko zida ambasade, prenosi New York Times. Navodi se i da niko u ambasadi nije povrijeđen.

Goldstin je dodao i da su sigurnosni zvaničnici ambasade pretražili teren i da nisu nađene druge eksplozivne naprave, a da zgrada nije oštećena u napadu.

On nije znao šta je motiv napada, niti da li se radi o namjernom samoubilačkom napadu.

Ambasada je na svom sajtu saopćila da postoji aktivna sigurnosna situacija i savjetovani su američki državljani da izbjegavaju ambasadu do novog obavještenja, prenosi Vijesti.me.
