Biden nakon susreta s Erdoganom: Veoma dobar sastanak
Sastanak predsjednika Republike Turske i Sjedinjenih Američkih Država (SAD) Recepa Tayyipa Erdogana i Joea Bidena na marginama NATO samita, održan je danas u poslijepodnevnim satima u Briselu.
Sastanak Erdogana i Bidena održan je iza zatvorenih vrata u štabu NATO-a.
– Bio je veoma dobar sastanak – rekao je Biden nakon sastanka.
Kako je kazao, razgovarali su o načinima za unapređenje odnosa po mnogim pitanjima.
– Naši timovi će nastaviti razgovarati, vjerujem da ćemo ostvariti stvarni napredak između Turske i Sjedinjenih Američkih Država – dodao je Biden.
Nakon sastanka Erdogana i Bidena, održan je i sastanak delegacija dvije zemlje.
Lideri zemalja NATO-a okupili su se danas na samitu koji je održan uz pojačane mjere sigurnosti u sjedištu organizacije u Briselu.
Predsjednici i premijeri 30 članica NATO-a tokom samita razgovarali su o nizu tema i održali niz bilateralnih susreta i to uz poštivanje mjera borbe protiv pandemije COVID-19.
Čelnici NATO-a su razgovarali i donijeli odluke koje bi mogle biti vodilja toj organizaciji za narednih deset godina.
Posljednji samit lidera NATO-a održan je u decembru 2019. godine u Velikoj Britaniji.
Erdogan se ranije sastao s predsjednikom Francuske Emmanuelom Macronom, premijerom Velike Britanije Borisom Johnsonom, njemačkom kancelarkom Angelom Merkel, premijerom Grčke Kyriakosom Mitsotakisom i premijerom Holandije Markom Rutteom.
