Bosna i Hercegovina želi pokrenuti proceduru za potpisivanje sporazuma o dvojnom državljanstvu s Republikom Austrijom, gdje živi i radi veliki broj bh. građana, saznaje „Dnevni avaz“.
Važno pitanje
Svake godine veliki broj ljudi se odriče bh. pasoša kako bi dobio austrijsko državljanstvo, jer ne postoji mogućnost dvostrukog državljanstva. Kako je za „Avaz“ potvrdila bh. ministrica vanjskih poslova Bisera Turković, to je bila jedna od tema razgovora s Almom Zadić, ministricom pravde u vladi Austrije s kojom se jučer sastala u Beču.
– Smatramo da je krajnje vrijeme da zaustavimo jedan loš trend. Istovremeno, mi kao država koja teži ka članstvu u EU moramo računati i na tu vrstu mobilnosti i kretanja radne snage, te mislimo da je dobro da imamo sporazum o dvostrukom državljanstvu koji bi regulirao to pitanje – pojasnila je Turković.
Prema zvaničnim podacima, svake godine više od dvije hiljade ljudi se ispiše iz bh. državljanstva, najviše zbog pasoša Austrije i Njemačke. Do sada se više od 80.000 Bosanaca i Hercegovaca odlučilo na takav korak.
Turković ističe da je za BiH važno da ljudi koji odlaze raditi u Evropsku uniju ostanu trajno vezani za Bosnu i Hercegovinu i zadrže svoje državljanstvo.
– Hiljade mladih i uspješnih ljudi širom svijeta rade i konkuriraju na svjetskom tržištu, mi ne možemo zaustaviti korporacije da daju priliku mladima i sposobnima da ostvare svoju poziciju, ali ono što možemo jeste da im omogućimo da sačuvaju bh. pasoš i vezu s domovinom – navela je Turković.
Migrantska kriza
Također, kako navodi, s austrijskim kolegom će razgovarati o drugim pitanjima poput migrantske krize, borbe protiv posljedica pandemije koronavirusa te o evropskom putu BiH. Prema njenim riječima, Austrija je veliki prijatelj Bosne i Hercegovine i odnosi su sadržajni i intenzivni.
Uvjeti za državljanstvo
Stupanjem na snagu inoviranog Zakona o državljanstvu 2006. godine kandidat za austrijsko državljanstvo mora neprekidno boraviti u Austriji najmanje deset godina, od kojih najmanje pet mora biti i zvanično nastanjen. Ovaj rok se pod određenim uvjetima može skratiti na šest godina. Za eventualno skraćenje moraju postojati posebni razlozi, kakvi su, naprimjer, odobrenje azila, državljanstvo neke od zemalja EEP-a (Evropskog privrednog prostora), rođenje u Austriji ili izuzetne zasluge u interesu Republike Austrije. Za bračne drugove i djecu austrijskih državljana postoje povoljnije odredbe.
