Fudbalska reprezentacija Bosne i Hercegovine ostala je i bez teoretskih šansi za plasman u baraž za Svjetsko prvenstvo 2022. godine, nakon što je u subotu na Bilinom polju u Zenici poražena od selekcije Finske rezultatom 1:3, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA).
Reprezentacija BiH je dobro otvorila utakmicu uz nekoliko prilika za postizanje gola. U osmoj minuti bh. igrači su tražili penal zbog igranja rukom odbrambenog igrača Finske, ali je sudija Michael Oliver pokazao samo na korner.
Uslijedila je nova dobra šansa. Sead Kolašinac je protrčao s desne strane, ubacio u sredinu, ali Miralem Pjanić nije uspio najbolje zahvatiti tu loptu, koja odlazi preko gola. Kolašinac ponovo u 19. minuti šalje loptu ka sredini, ovaj put nije se najbolje snašao Smail Prevljak.
Engleski sudija je u 23. minuti pokazao na bijelu tačku, nakon što je rukom u kaznenom prostoru igrao Miralem Pjanić. Ibrahim Šehić odlično je pročitao Teemua Pukkija i odbranio penal. Četiri minute kasnije, Finci ipak dolaze do vodstva, Pukki je prošao s desne strane, uposlio Marcusa Forssa koji šalje loptu u mrežu Šehića.
Direktan crveni karton u 37. minuti pokazan je desnom beku Finske Jukki Raitali, nakon vrlo oštrog starta nad Kolašincem, zbog kojeg je morao napustiti utakmicu. Umjesto njega u igru je ušao Ermedin Demirović. Ostatak prvog poluvremena praktično je igran na polovici Finske, no promjene rezultata nije bilo.
Na samom početku drugog poluvremena, u prilici je bio opet Pukki, no lopta prolazi pored gola. U 51. minuti Finci, iako s igračem manje, povećavaju vodstvo na 0:2, strijelac je bio Robin Lod.
Pet izmjena napravio je Ivaylo Petev do 67. minute. Amer Gojak je izveo slobodan udarac s desne strane, a sjajni Luka Menalo, samo dva minuta nakon ulaska u igru, pogodio je za 1:2.
Slavlje navijača na prepunom Bilinom polju nije trajalo dugo, Daniel O'Shaughnessy postigao je treći pogodak za Fince u 73. minuti. Sumnjalo se da je bila nedozvoljena pozicija, no nakon VAR asistencije Oliver je ipak pokazao na centar.
Na tabeli grupe “D” Francuska je prva s 12 bodova, Finci sada imaju 11, Ukrajina je treća s devet, dok BiH ima sedam. Kazahstan je posljednji s tri boda.
