Ljudi koji pokušavaju da učine svijet gorim nikad ne uzimaju slobodan dan. Zašto bih ja?, rekao je Bob Marli, koji nas je napustio na današnji dan prije 40 godina.

Od kada nas je napustio legendarni Jamajkanac prošlo je četrdeset godina a historija svijeta koja se upravo stvara i dalje se bilježi kao ihstorija ratovanja. Planeta gdje se rodila rege ikona, od oca bijelca i majke crnkinje, i dalje ima problem sa rasizmom.

Bob Marli je čovjek koji je promijenio svijet muzike i vezao je čvrsto za način života, za viši stepen kulturne,  socijalne i duhovne ljestvice. Njegova muzika nosila je i nosi u sebi onu najpozitivniju moguću vibraciju koja nas pokreće i blagosilja godinama od kada ovaj veliki umjetnik nije više sa nama.  Robert Nesta Marley nama svima poznat kao BOB MARLI čovjek koji je postao mit, kralj regea, čija je muzika pokrenula mase,  postao je simbol mira ljubavi i revolucije duha i njenog krika protiv zla i nepravde. 

Bob Marli (Bob Marley ) se svojim riječima iz najvećih dubina čovjekove duše borio protiv vavilona, vavilona u nama samima, vavilona u svijetu, vavilona uopšte. Vavilon je izraz koji je nastao kao odraz duhovne i političke borbe crnaca protiv nepravde i nasilja a kasnije se razvio i označava pojam nepravednog, totalitarnog i neduhovnog stanja i sistema vrijednosti u svijetu uopšte. A Marley je nastojao sve ljude trgnuti u borbu i rušenje vavilona, na tom putu je bio i ostao a njegove pjesme to i danas rade.

I to je najvažnija suština njegove muzike: MIR, LJUBAV i DUH iznad svega.
