Borbeni avion Turske će biti završen 2022. godine

Generalni direktor avioindustrije u Turskoj, rekao je i da je motor, novog borbenog turskog motora,  1,5 puta jači od motora F-35, te da na ovom projektu radi 4.000 inženjera.

Dmitrij Šugajev, direktor ruske Federalne službe za vojno-tehničku saradnju rekao je da je Rusija spremna pomoći Turskoj u proizvodnji borbenih nacionalnih aviona, ukoliko oni na to pristanu.

Pored toga kazao je da se nadaju da će Turska biti zainteresovana za avion Su-35  zbog problema sa pošiljkama F-16 i F-35 koji su imali sa SAD-om.

Avioni Su-35 i Su-57 predstavljeni su turskom predsjedniku Recepu Tayyipu Erdoganu u okviru sajma avijacije MAKS 2019. Turska je ranije bila isključena iz programa F-35, zbog toga što je od Rusije kupila odbrambene sisteme S-400. Nakon što je isključena iz programa koji je uključivao zajedničku proizvodnju ovih aviona sa SAD, Ankara je odlučila da napravi sopstveni ratni avion.

Temel Kotil, generalni direktor avioindustrije, rekao je da će nacionalni borbeni avion biti gotov 2022. godine, a da će masovna proizvodnja biti 2028. godine.

Kotil je gostujući na CNN Turk-u govorio o projektu TFX, te je uporedio F-16 i F-35 sa novim turskim borbenim avionom. 

– F-16 ima jedan motor, a ovaj avion ( op.a novi borbeni avion kojeg proizvodi Turska), će imati dva motora. Bombe su sakrivene unutar aviona, ovo je nevidljivi avion. F-16 je tehnologija 1980-ih, a ovo je tehnologija 2020-ih, kazao je Kotil.

Kazao je i da je motor novog borbenog turskog aviona,  1,5 puta jači od motora F-35, te da na ovom projektu radi 4.000 inženjera.
