Šef projekta Reuf Kadrić je kazao da su na ovoj dionici ili u zraku ili u zemlji što je specifičnost ove poddionice gdje se trenutno izvode istražni radovi, izrada projektne dokumentacije i priprema gradilišta.
Nedaleko od Topčić Polja kod Nemile pored magistralnog puta M-17 u toku su radovi na izgradnji poddionice Poprikuše – Nemila dužine 5,5 kilometara u sklopu koje će biti izgrađeni jedan tunel, dva mosta te dva vijadukta.
Gradnja Koridora 5C uveliko je nastavljena i nizvodno od Zeničke obilaznice prema Doboju u mjestu Topčić Polje gdje je u toku gradnja mostova, vijadukta te probijanje tunela Golubinja. Specifično za ovu dionicu je to što je sastavljena od pet objekata, a dužina tunela iznosit će 3.650 metara.
S obzirom na to da gradnja autoceste prema projektnoj dokumentaciji ide od sjevera ka jugu, početak dionice je u neposrednoj blizini naselja Poprikuše, južno od grada Žepča. Na predmetnoj dionici od značajnijih objekata projektovan je tunel Golubinja (L=3.659 m), mostovi Golubinja 1 (L=423,5/476,5 m) i Bosna (L=196/204 m) te vijadukti Golubinja 2 (L=138/138 m) i Kovanići (L=116/129 m).

“Trenutno se vrše pripremni radovi na osiguranju predusjeka na ulaznim i izlaznim stranama tunela te pristupnim cestama na južnoj strani dionice. Izvode se radovi na izgradnji pristupnog mosta u Kovanići te drugi pripremni radovi”, kazao je Kadrić.
U sklopu ove poddionice bit će izgrađeno i odmaralište te Centar za kontrolu prometa s naplatnim mjestom što će biti ujedno i prvo odmaralište na dionici Sarajevo sjever – Poprikuše.
Radovi na ovoj poddionici izvode se po FIDIC-u što podrazumijeva da izvođač radova izvodi radove i radi projektnu dokumentaciju.
Izvođač radova je Cengiz Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S (Turska), a nadzor nad izvođenjem radova vrši IRD Engineering S.r.l. (Italija).
Vrijednost Ugovora za izgradnju dionice Poprikuše – Nemila je 208.059.247 eura s PDV-om, odnosno 177.828.416 eura bez PDV-a.
Izgradnja ove dionice se finansira sredstvima osiguranim u okviru ugovora o zajmu sklopljenog s Europskom bankom za obnovu i razvoj (EBRD) u visini od 70 milijuna eura, Europske investicijske banke (EIB) u visini od 90 milijuna eura te bespovratnim sredstvima Evropske unije u iznosu od 41,1 milijun eura koja su osigurana u okviru Agende za povezivanje preko Investicijskog okvira za Zapadni Balkan (WBIF).
Izgradnja ove poddionice trebala bi biti završena do 2024. godine.
