CHRISTIAN SCHMIDT PORUČIO: Ljudi u Sarajevu, Banjaluci, Mostaru… žele isto – da žive zajedno i da mogu zajedno da se razvijaju
Da bi se riješili svi ključni problemi, uključujući blokadu rada državnih institucija i dogovor o izmjenama Izbornog zakona Bosne i Hercegovine, neophodno je da političari ostanu za istim stolom, čak i kada je teško, izjavio je za BHRT visoki predstavnik Christian Schmidt u njegovom prvom televizijskom intervjuu u BiH nakon preuzimanja funkcije.
Schmidt je govorio o aktuelnoj situaciji u BiH, ali i planovima za budućnost. Poručio je da trenutna blokada rada državnih institucija, nikome ne donosi dobro.
“Blokade nikada ne doprinose uspjehu i ne donose dobro. U Njemačkoj se kaže: ‘Bolje razgovarati jedni sa drugima, nego razgovarati o drugima’. Ko želi nešto da pokrene, mora da razgovara da bi nešto potaknuo. Ne smijemo dopustiti da BiH na njenom putu ka Evropskoj uniji doživi neuspjeh ili da zastajkuje na tom putu. Na ovaj put pozivam izabrane predstavnike države BiH”.
Visoki predstavnik se prije nekoliko dana sastao sa predsjednikom Srbije Aleksandrom Vučićem.
“Predsjednik Srbije pozvao je visokog predstavnika međunarodne zajednice u BiH na zvaničan razgovor. Za budućnost BiH potrebno je razgovarati sa glavnim gradovima u regiji, i to je ono što ja radim. Važno je razgovarati i o pripremama za samit zapadnoevropskih zemalja koji će biti održan u oktobru, kao i o poboljšanju privredne saradnje zemalja Zapadnog Balkana i to su bile teme o kojima smo razgovarali”, rekao je Schmidt.
Visoki predstavnik je u razgovoru odbacio kritike da se u svojim pogledima na izmjene Izbornog zakona svrstao na stranu Hrvatske demokratske zajednice (HDZ). Poručio je kako odgovornost za rješenje pitanja izmjena Izbornog zakona nose domaći političari.
“Ja sam impresioniran koliko ‘čitača misli’ ima u regiji jer te misli o kojima se izvještava i koje su, navodno, skrivene u mojoj glavi, uopšte nisu tu. Puno je bolje raditi na rješenju, na izmjenama Izbornog zakona koje, između ostalog, moraju uključivati borbu protiv izbornih prevara. Osim toga, mora se osigurati da se ispoštuju odluke Suda za ljudska prava u pogledu učešća “ostalih”, rekao je Schmidt.
On je istakao kako se, iako je teško, mora sjesti za sto i naći zajedničko rješenje jer to i jeste uloga politike.
“Evropska unija i međunarodna zajednica vrlo rado će u tome pomoći, međutim odgovornost za ovo leži kod odabranih predstavnika različitih stranaka i naroda u BiH”, rekao je Schmidt.
Visoki predstavnik je rekao kako će raditi na tome da se poboljša situacija stanovnika u BiH, a ne političara.
Najvažnije je, kaže, da se poboljša kvaliteta života, te dodaje kako se puno političke energije troši na neke druge stvari.
“Moraju se osigurati određeni pravni uslovi, obezbijediti vladavina prava, što će za neke biti neugodno, ali to je neophodno. Ja ću korisiti sve mogućnosti koje mi stoje na raspolaganju, na umrežavanju sa Evropskom unijom, sa raznim međunarodnim akterima, a mjerilo prema kojem ćemo mjeriti je li se situacija ovdje poboljšala je da li će u narednoj deceniji mladi ljudi reći – ‘da, rado živim ovdje, volim svoj život ovdje’. To je zadatak koji je pred nama, a koji nije lak i potrebna je podrška sviju da bi se to osiguralo”, rekao je visoki predstavnik.
Govoreći o mogućnosti zatvaranja OHR-a u perspektivi, Schmidt je kazao kako ne postoji vremenski plan za to.
“Ne postoji neki vremenski plan u tom pogleda, samo postoji zadatak – da se dođe do toga da situacija dozvoli da se OHR, ali i zadatak koji on obavlja zaključi i da se traže novi oblici saradnje. Želim da u političkom smislu upozorim da to ne znači da će se međunarodna zajednica nakon toga prestati zanimati za BiH jer previše su ljudi ovdje propatili. Zadatak ostaje, funkcionalnosti ostaju, samo možda na neki drugi način”, rekao je Schmidt.
Visoki predstavnik je dodao kako je stekao utisak da ljudi u Sarajevu, Banjaluci, Mostaru… žele isto – da žive zajedno i da mogu zajedno da se razvijaju.
