Dan demokracije i nacionalnog jedinstva:Turska obilježava treću godišnjicu izdajničkog pokušaja puča
Različitim manifestacijama će biti odata počast šehidima i građanima Turske koji su na današnji dan 2016. godine hrabro pružili otpor i spriječili teroriste FETO-a u nakani da sruše legitimnu vlast u toj zemlji.
Povodom treće godišnjice neuspjelog pokušaja vojnog udara, širom Republike Turske danas se obilježava Dan demokracije i nacionalnog jedinstva, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA).
Različitim manifestacijama će biti odata počast šehidima i građanima Turske koji su na današnji dan 2016. godine hrabro pružili otpor i spriječili teroriste FETO-a u nakani da sruše legitimnu vlast u toj zemlji.
Turski parlament će danas održati posebnu sjednicu povodom sjećanja na sprječavanje puča, a sjednici će prisustvovati i turski predsjednik Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Na bosforskom Mostu šehida 15. jula će danas biti svečano otvoren i Muzej sjećanja na 15. juli, a turski predsjednik Erdogan će se obratiti i skupu na istanbulskom aerodromu “Ataturk“.
Teroristička organizacija Fetulahci (FETO) odgovorna je za krvavi pokušaj puča u Turskoj u noći 15. jula 2016. godine.
Riječ je o terorističkoj organizaciji koju predvodi Fetullah Gulen, nastanjen u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama, a čije izručenje je Turska formalno tražila od SAD-a.
Članovi te terorističke organizacije godinama su namještanjem ispita napredovali u službi infiltrirajući se tako u institucije države. Potom su, najprije u decembru 2013. godine, članovi FETO-a u pravosuđu Turske kroz namješteni proces zbog navodne korupcije pokušali procesuiranje brojnih visokih dužnosnika.
Nekoliko godina kasnije uslijedio je i krvavi pokušaj terorista FETO-a kada su 15. jula oficiri u turskoj vojsci odani toj terorističkoj organizaciji pokrenuli puč.
Istraga u vezi s terorističkom organizacijom FETO pokazala je da se radi o globalnoj mreži koja ne predstavlja opasnost samo Turskoj, nego i svakoj drugoj zemlji u kojoj je aktivna, a na to su u više navrata i ukazali turski zvaničnici. Tokom pokušaja puča u Turskoj je poginula 251, a ranjeno oko 2.200 osoba.
Sudovi u Turskoj su za pokušaj vojnog udara pokrenuli ukupno 289 postupaka, od kojih su presude izrečene u 265 slučajeva, a suđenja traju u još 24 slučaja. O izdajničkom pokušaju puča tužilaštva te zemlje su provela više od 100.000 istražnih postupaka.
Suđenja su završena u 265 slučajeva u kojima su osuđena ukupno 3.664 optuženika, uključujući 2.260 osuđenih na doživotne kazne zatvora i 1.404 osuđenika na zatvorske kazne u trajanju od jedne do 20 godina. U završenim sudskim parnicama oslobođeno je ukupno 2.609 optuženih.
Među osuđenicima na doživotni zatvor je i 1.206 osuđenih na višestruke doživotne zatvorske kazne, uključujući i 17 osuđenih na po 141 doživotnu kaznu. Na višestruku doživotnu robiju osuđen je 71 bivši general, 813 bivših oficira i 172 podoficira koji su učestvovali u krvavom pokušaju puča.
