Rukometna reprezentacija Danske u posljednjem susretu druge grupne faze deklasirala je Hrvatsku sa 38:26 i tako raspršila san o plasmanu Kauboja u četvrtfinale, koje su mogli dosegnuti eventualnom pobjedom.

Nakon dana pauze na Mundijalu koji je na programu danas u prvom krugu eliminacione faze gledat ćemo duele Danska – Egipat, Švedska – Katar, Španija – Norveška i Francuska – Mađarka.
Najzanimljiviji par četvrtfinala svakako je duel između aktuelnih evropskih prvaka Španaca i selekcije Norveške.
Na kraju vrijedi reći da se sve utakmice četvrtfinala igraju 27. januara.
