Ured visokog predstavnika u BiH treba zatvoriti, poručio je predsjedavajući Predsjedništva BiH Milorad Dodik nakon sastanka predsjednika Srbije Aleksandra Vučića sa najvišim zvaničnicima Republike Srpske i predstavnicima parlamentarnih stranaka u RS.
Dodik je rekao da je RS protiv rehabilitacije i kreiranje bilo kakvih novih rješenja.- Mi nismo antidejtonska strana u BiH – istakao je Dodik.Ponovio je da je potrebno jedinstvo, jer imenovanje novog visokog predstavnika može biti štetno za Republiku Srpsku. Kazao je da traže poštivanje Dejtonskog sporazuma i Ustava BiH.- Eksperiment međunarodne zajednice prema BiH i pokušaji imenovanja novog visokog predstavnika moraju se prekinuti – poruka je koju je delegacija RS prenijela rukovodstvu Srbije na sastanku u Beogradu – rekao je Dodik.Naveo je da visoki predstavnik neće imati legitimitet u Republici Srpskoj ako izostane potvrda Vijeća sigurnosti UN.Istakao je da su od predsjednika Srbije Aleksandra Vučića naišli na veliko razumijevanje na današnjem sastanku.
Razgovarao sam s Nelsonom telefonom. Rekao sam mu da je za nas neprihvatljivo da se ne poštuje međunarodno pravo i Aneks 10 Dejtonskog sporazuma, i tamo je rečeno da strane moraju da se dogovore konsenzusom i o ličnosti koju potvrđuje Savjet bezbjednosti. On je na to rekao da je eto Amerika svoje rekla i da ona smatra da je Šmit već imenovan i da se treba posvetiti BiH, funkcionalnoj, koju mi čitamo kao unitarnu BiH. Ja sam rekao da nisam spreman pratiti njihove iluzije već 20 godina, koje su posijali ovdje, koje uopšte ne funckionišu i da bi trebali da se vrate realnom odnosu snaga na terenu i vraćanju Dejtonskog sporazuma. I da ne mogu razumijem zašto jedna Amerika, koja je kreirala Dejtonski posrsazum, odustaje od tog sporazuma usput optužujući druge da krše taj dejtonski sporazum. To je bila i suština mog stava – rekao je Dodik.
