Dolar pada, euro snažno raste – evo zbog čega
Na svjetskim je tržištima vrijednost dolara prema košarici valuta pala i prošle sedmice, drugoga zaredom, dok je tečaj eura snažno porastao zahvaljujući prijedlogu Evropske komisije za pomoć ekonomiji, javlja Hina a prenose mediji.
Dolarov indeks, koji pokazuje vrijednost američke u odnosu na ostalih šest najvažnijih svjetskih valuta, pao je prošle sedmice 1,5 posto, na otprilike 98,30 bodova.
Pritom je tečaj eura prema dolaru skočio 1,8 posto, na 1,1100 dolara, najvišu razinu od kraja marta.
U odnosu na japansku valutu, cijena dolara porasla je, pak, 0,2 posto, na 107,80 jena.
Euro raste drugu sedmicu zaredom
Skok tečaja eura prema dolaru drugu sedmicu zaredom, pri čemu je dosegnuo najviše razne u dva mjeseca, zahvaljuje se najavi mjera koje bi trebale potaknuti oporavak ekonomije Evropske unije od koronakrize.
Evropska komisija predložila je u srijedu instrument za oporavak gospodarstva vrijedan 750 milijardi eura te Višegodišnji financijski okvir (VFO) od 1.100 milijardi eura.
Instrument se sastoji od 500 milijardi eura bespovratne pomoći najteže pogođenim državama članicama i sektorima te 250 milijardi eura koje bi se dodjeljivale kao povoljni zajmovi.
Dolar pod pritiskom zbog zaoštrenih odnosa SAD-a i Kine
S druge strane, dolar je cijele sedmice bio pod pritiskom zbog rasta napetosti između SAD-a i Kine, nakon što je kineski parlament u četvrtak usvojio zakon o nacionalnoj sigurnosti u Hong Kongu, kao odgovor na lanjske velike prosvjede u toj bivšoj britanskoj koloniji.
Američki državni sekretar Mike Pompeo poručio je da je “ta katastrofalna odluka Kine samo posljednja na dugom popisu poteza koji temeljno potkopavaju autonomiju i slobode Hong Konga”.
Mediji pišu kako američke vlasti razmatraju mogućnost uvođenja različitih sankcija protiv kineskih dužnosnika, poslovnih sektora i financijskih institucija.
SAD će početi postupak ukidanja trgovinskih izuzeća koja je uživao Hong Kong, objavio je u petak predsjednik SAD-a Donald Trump. Hong Kong nije dovoljno autonoman da bi mogao opravdati poseban status koji se daje tom teritoriju otkako je vraćen Kini, rekao je američki predsjednik.
Uz to, Trump i njegova vlada svako malo kritiziraju Kinu da nije dovoljno učinila na suzbijanju širenja virusa, a Kina poručuje da se neće sustezati od rasta napetosti.
