Džaferović iz Brisela: Dobre vijesti za BiH, kandidatski status moguć naredne godine
Predsjedavajući Predsjedništva BiH Šefik Džaferović kazao je nakon sastanaka članova Predsjedništva BiH sa liderima Evropske Unije u Briselu da su imali vrlo korisne sastanke.
Džaferović je kazao da imaju dobre vijesti za BiH.
“Iduće sedmice će se objaviti dva izvještaja, jedan se tiče proširenja, a drugi paketa podrške za Zapadni Balkan. Kada je u pitanju proširenje EU, danas je na svim sastancima kazano da je BIH napravila značajne iskorake u realizaciji 14 prioriteta EU i da treba da predano nastavi na ispunjavanju svih obaveza iz tih 14 prioriteta. Ukoliko to bude tako, onda možemo očekivati kandidatski status u toku 2021 godine. To je danas kazano na ovim sastancima. Kada je u pitanju paket ekonomske podrške za Zapadni Balkan koji će biti predstavljen iduće sedmice, on bi trebao značajno da podrži infrastrukturu, energetiku i ekološki razvoj cijelog regiona Zapadnog Balkana”, pojasnio je Džaferović.
Na sastanacima se razgovaralo i o ilegalnim migracijama.
“Imaćemo punu podršku EU da se što uspješnije nosimo sa tim problemom. EU je pripremila novi plan migracija koji je trenutno na diskusiji članica EU. On će pomoći da se smanji broj ilegalnih migranata u BiH”, kazao je Džaferović.
Jedna tema bila je i pitanje regionalne saradnje.
“Jasno je kazano da ono ono što se kod nas zove mini Schengen da je to implementacije četiri slobode. Nešto što će biti standardizirano u skladu sa pravilima EU. Da to nije zamjena, nego priprema za članstvo u EU”, kazao je.
Članovi Predsjedništva pozvali su Josepha Borrella, visokog predstavnika EU za vanjsku i sigurnosnu politiku, na obilježavanje 25. godišnjice Dejtonskog sporazuma, što je on i prihvatio.
