Džeko: U sutrašnjem meču nema istinskog favorita
Kapiten reprezentacije BiH Edin Džeko pred sutrašnji duel baraža za plasman na Evropsko prvenstvo protiv Sjeverne Irske upozorio je da u tom meču nema istinskog favorita.
“Istinskog favorita u nogometu nema jer danas svi znaju igrati. Nekada si mogao reći da ćeš pobijediti, danas to nije tako jer svako svakoga može dobiti. Ako ne daš maksimum, teško ćeš do pobjede, ja to najbolje znam”, izjavio je Džeko na današnjoj konferenciji za medije.
Navodi da pobjede protiv Sjeverne Irske u prošloj sezoni Lige nacija niša ne znače za sutrašnji meč.
“Oba tima se dobro znaju i neće biti iznenađenja. Pobjede u Ligi nacija nas ne smiju opustiti. Poznati smo po tome da znamo podcijeniti protivnika i to ne smijemo sebi sutra dopustiti. Oni će dati svoj maksimum jer imaju priliku da odu na Euro, a mi moramo isto učiniti”, rekao je kapiten selekcije BiH.
Dodao je da je sutrašnji meč jedan od najvažnijih ove godine, te da je on fokusiran samo na reprezentaciju.
Utakmica BiH – Sjeverna Irska će biti odigrana sutra na stadionu “Grbavica” u Sarajevu s početkom u 20.45 sati.
