“Sigurno da prije utakmice niko nije očekivao ovakav rezultat. Možda ni mi, ali nogomet je takva igra gdje se igra 90 minuta. Lopta je okrugla i sve je moguće. To smo pokazali danas, odigrali smo jednu odličnu utakmicu. U prvom poluvremenu smo primili nesretan gol, ali se vratilo s crvenim kartom koji su oni dobili. Drugo je poluvrijeme bilo puno drugačije, a da su imali 11 igrača sigurno bi nam puno teže bilo osvojiti jedan bod”, rekao je Džeko za Novu BH i nastavio:
“Ovo je bila dosta teška utakmica. Možda će neki reći da smo u nastavku trebali doći do tri boda, ali bod protiv Francuske je velik. Da smo agresivnije krenuli i napali, možda bi primili gol. Ovo je veliki bod i važan za moral ove mlade ekipe koja je pokazala da je na pravom putu.”
Dalje je Dijamant otkrio da vjeruje kako će Kolašinac biti spreman za susret protiv Kazahstana.
“Mislim da je izvrnuo zglob, nadamo se da nije ništa strašno. Sejo je tenk i vjerujem da neće biti problema”, rekao je Džeko.
Reprezentacija BiH već u subotu igra prijateljski meč sa selekcijom Kuvajta u Zenici, a tri dana kasnije Zmajevi nastavljaju kvalifikacije kada na Bilinom polju igraju sa Kazahstanom.
